really like the pixel art the fire and forest look great so does the player character.
good job!
Great looking game, though I had a hard time getting control of the squirrel. He would not feel like he was jumping right.
That was really fun! I really liked the art and the music worked very well with the visuals. I loved the little squeak when you rescued a squirrel :D The movement all felt very good and the level designs were a nice challenge length. Avery solid entry, great work!
That is the kind of gfx that I aim for. In a few years I guess. :}
This game was a blast and it's clear that you put a lot of work into it!
I really enjoyed the fast-paced arcade feel that the game had.
Personally, I found it a little bit frustrating that the player was not able to jump through the leaf platforms. Since the character has so much upwards velocity it feels kinda diminishing when you are constantly bonking your head on platforms. This was especially jarring when I saw that the treetops did not have any collision.
Another small addition that I would have liked to see would be some kind of arrow or hint pointing you towards the direction of the final few items (maybe only when you have about 5 or less to collect). I could see how it might become a little tedious to run all around the map hunting for the final collectable if you happened to miss it.
Other than those small critiques I think that this was an absolutely fantastic submission. Great job!
Nice concept, unfortunately the gameplay feels too punishing for me personally but I can see how some people will enjoy it more than I do. I like the compliments from the squirrels :)
Interesting, nice graphics, good music. The gravity was a bit too powerful, but still manageable :)
Really good, had fun saving all of them. poor squirrels.
It was a nice easy platformer that wasn't too punishing! I have terrible reflexes so I really favored that. The squirrel rescue sounds are super cute so that's top marks for audio from me and I loved the compliments they give you upon rescue. 5 out of 5 acorns.
The art is good. Not sure if it contains a different set of tiles as I only played 2 areas, but the major thing I would change is the physics. Make the jump with different kinds of forces, not just one, that will give the player more control over it.
Art is good , idea is good ...
I would make Player Controller more precise, it's very easy to fell of the platform when you didn't want to
Awesome concept. Great level design and fun platforming!
Masterfully done, there's an incredible amount of polish here for just one week of work. 5 stars
Beautiful work!! The pixel art and tilesets are gorgeous. Had lots of fun playing it, and the concept for saving your squirrel friends from a forest fire is so good. I was really impressed that you got three levels done in a week.
This game is really polished and fun.
