Having the pillars cause damage was a cool idea. I played through both versions. Nice job!

Developer

it was a little glitch when testing, so i thought i'd add it in for the hard mode

Nice job with this game. The hard mode was an interesting addition it brought a unique challenge with pillars doing contact damage and the bigger blast radius.

Good game! I enjoyed the story context & the music. The game fits the GB style well.

This game is actually, by far, imo, one of the best games of the jam!

Sure, the art is a little weird in some places, but let's be honest, not everyone is good at art lol.

The gameplay was solid and I enjoyed it, and the take on the theme space was definitely very ingenious!

But this game has something else I haven't experienced for a majority of the game jam games (that are on a actual gameboy);

Great music!

No really, I like haven't see a game so far that has genuinely used the pulse channels, wave channel, and noise channel so good. The music feels like, well, actual music that 100% was not made in 10 days or less.

Saying it again:

This game is great!

Thank you so much!!! Me and my team really enjoyed working on it.

I destroy every pillar :)

Some enemies will be cool :)

Developer

Good idea.

Very competent.

I think there could have been more opportunities for multi-pillar combos in the levels. Some of the later ones seemed determined to make me use one bomb for one pillar every time.

The soundtrack is nice!

Good work!

I like games that let you vandalize things. haha

Developer

same lol

This was fun, I enjoyed the concept as simple as it was. It would be great to see some more features added to the gameplay in the future.  also the bomb cursor on the itch page is epic!

I liked your game, although it does get a little repetitive.

Submitted

Whilst the concept is amazing, and art is good the game gets repetitive fast and lacks in level design departament.

Developer

Yeah, random levels are hard to make, so we just went simple.

Loved the style here! Gameplay was simple and fun. Great work!

Developer

Thank you, man. 😀
