Beautiful! I love the collor pallets and sprites. The soundtrack really talked to the game aesthetics. It took me a while to start playing because the mouse selection confused me. As soon as I entered I died and had to refresh the page. At least making it a little bit easier on the very beggining would give me a chance to enjoy the game on its complitude. It has potential!
The character moves too fast in my opinion, also it gets stuck on game over (my game too haha).
otherwise, great looking and great music! <3
Great artwork, truly.
I agree with previous comments about death from nowhere and not being able to restart. Overall has good potential for the future!
This was quite confusing. It seems quite easy to die, and it seems like death is a full restart. Is the Game Over screen supposed to stay indefinitely after death? Refreshing the browser each attempt was a bit much.
I like the artwork.
The use of point-and-click controls on the menu is odd, given the Controls limitations of the jam. Not egregious, just questionable.
The sounds are a bit loud.
Congratulations on the submission!
You did a great job with the sprites and animations. I like how the projectile works. The enemy projectiles are hard to avoid! Nice job on this.
You can’t put the game on full screen, so you have to zoom the browser to see it better. But a like the game !
Struggled a bit with the challenge but I really like the look of the game. A very different color palette and I think it played well with the overall art-style. The animations on the blades are a small detail but I really appreciated the little sparks as well.
