Fun and well-thought-out game! The gameplay was the highlight for me. So much cool stuff going on and it has the foundation of a solid puzzle platformer! The animations were a bit stiff and the 2d character seems out of place in the 3d world. It seems like the player can grab ledges but has no animation for it which is a little confusing. I sometimes ran into trouble grabbing the objects and you can also push the player character around with them. Visually I think the game has a lot of charm and I liked the music. Great work!

it's pretty fun and seems like a game suitable for steam, maybe even as a console game if polished enough, ggs!

Crazy to think that its the platformer part of the game that is lacking...

Still, I ranked your game high, despite this and the lack of polish saw on other comparatively simplier and not-as-long jam submissions, because I liked everything else :)

Wow! This is wildly impressive, especially as a solo effort! It's very (very) rough around the edges, but it was really fun to beat. In spite of various collision issues, the electrokinetic mechanic is (mostly) intuitive and a blast to use! The art has a couple of awkward spots here and there, but it really captures the tone of the game mechanics, and contrasts well with the somewhat melancholy turns the story takes. It's just all around a good time!

I could not get the audio settings to work, but I might have just screwed that up. Either way, the default audio setting is quite loud, and the audio regularly peaked near or above +0.0 dB.

The turquoise font is quite hard to read (it's similar in color to the white outline). The bits of font that are in black or dark green are much easier to read.

For me, the camera jitters when following the player. This might be presumptuous, but I notice that it doesn't do that in the screenshots. I wonder if it's because it's lagging on my machine? (I.E. it might be a Deltatime-related issue).

Whenever I try to grab something in the background, I do have to make sure I'm grabbing at "where it intersects with my plane" rather than where the object is on my camera, which can be a bit unintuitive.

Also, I think the background's vertical position scales with the player's Y position, rather than the camera Y position, which creates a few confusing visual moments.

Finally, as much as I love the game's art style and atmosphere, most of the animations are quite jittery, and the game has a lot of straight-up flashing lights, including the lightning on the title screen and the lightning on the G-Cell health bar. It's not the worst I've seen, but I would consider making them a bit slower.

All-in-all, fantastic! Great work!

Would love to see a return of this title with volume adjustments and polish.

A lot of content to this game, very impressive to come up with all of this during a game jam, well done!

The game was kinda laggy for me, but it was still pretty fun to play. I love the art, the backstory, and the game's concept.

Need some polish regarding the collisions and the physics, but the concept is really cool and I liked the story incipit. Keep up the good work!

Looks really cool and has a cool concept! The tutorial level does seem to be broken tho.

An interesting and beautiful game. In some places I was actually able to pass through the wall with the help of objects, but I think this can be fixed)

Developer

Very creative game! Tho a little bit of polish is needed and there are some bugs here and there, but not too bad for a 3d game. Also love the words of encouragement in the middle of the levels lol. Well done!

Wow just wow. I’ve never seen 3d games in gdevelop like this one. Angela a heroin that can manipulate the objects around her to get where needs to go and stop the gooie baddies. The physics are amazing the buttons layout is nice. Right click to shoot while using your matrix powers with the left click. It takes some getting used but its worth playing once you get the hang of it. Some of the issues are just general pixel design polish, object layout, minor collisions and physics issues. While the polish on the pixel art needs work the low poly 3d makes up for what is lost with the pixel art. I had to turn the sound off because two songs were playing at the same time. Speaking of songs love the music. The game is another example of how gdevelop can make games even more awesome with physics. Well done. Please work on this would love to see a more commercial release.

thank you so so much for this wonderful and amazing  and very well thought-out feedback, I am considering in making this into a full-fledged commercial release, between work and personal life. I am hoping that this game will get a lot of love from the community for me to get motivated in working on making a big lore for the story and making more physics/platforming levels.

A thoroughly enjoyable game with great attention to detail. It kept me engaged from start to finish.

Sometimes I got stuck or the character flickered a bit while running, but nevermind: restarting the level could fix this.
The art is enjoyable to look at. It would be worth to see a more polished version after the jam because its potential.

Yeah, :D thank you very much for the feedback, I was running out of time for the jam that I forgot that there are still minor bugs I have to fix. I was hoping that if this game gains more traction. I will be considering making more levels and making the story more grand. to keep me motivated :D
