In terms of originality, this game is one of the most unique entries, as you mix puzzle solving with golf. The idea is really easy to understand and engaging, I truly found myself astonish of how fun the game is. However, the presentation of the game was a little rough, and even if the idea is really cool, the game lacks a little bit of substance to make it outstanding. But overall this game is really solid and a great foundation for an amazing game.

Thank you for the compliments and feedback. Presentation is the most difficult aspect of design for me, but I'm very encouraged now to level up and add some polish. And yes, I have a few ideas about how to make some more demanding levels that challenge not just manipulating the geometry, but also reaction times and a few other mechanics that I didn't get the chance to implement this go around. Cheers!
Such a solid entry! This is a mix of ideas that work really well together. I love the golf-style scoring, it gives you an idea on both how fast you can beat a level and how you're doing. I had a lot of fun figuring out the best route on each level (with fun varying levels of success)! I got stuck on the last level that seemed to require good reflexes multiple times in a row, but I will try again on my phone, I suspect this will be easier.
I love how you kept introducing new ideas, the low gravity levels are brilliant! The difficulty ramps up nicely, that's some solid game design here. I can see how this could be expanded in a full blown mobile game. Of all the mobile friendly games I've played, your game is one of my favorites.
The only nitpicking I have (if I rack my brain) is that some sprites have different pixel density than others (for instance the coins vs the ball) due to the fact that multiple assets packs are used, but it's still really pleasant on the eyes. Nothing major at all.
I won't be surprised if this ranks amongst the highest! 😁 I'm excited to try again later, great work!
This is such high praise! Really means so much to me and makes me want to keep at this game. I stress very much about polish and sprites and stuff because I think it's my weakest area, so I kind of avoided it a bit in the lead up, but I'm getting the motivation to learn and go at it now. Thank you so much for the support!
An original and fun idea. I like the combination with golf in the scorecard. Potential for a good casual mobile game.
Excellent game and really fits the theme of the Jam. Too bad I suck at it and got 19 over par on my first try. XP
I managed to only just get better than par! Really solid core mechanics, love the slow ramp up in difficulty, and using golf scoring always makes me feel like I have to try to beat my previous score!
Great concept! It fits the theme well. The gameplay is interesting as well.
Really great concept with the magnets it was really fun trying to get all of the coins, I'm also a fan of Golf so I love the whole 'par' thing. Overall great game well done!
This is an amazing entry, I think it deserves a spot up there. great job!
Enjoyed playing a lot :D
i was able to beat the game and get 116 score B)
Great game !
I have played this before the voting started and now I am back for the vote, good game :)
The first time I tried I got 102 :D I didn't know that it was also the aim of the game to do as few attempts as possible (actually thought about this for my game too!). But the second time I got 55! So far I am top 1, so hope to see someone beat it! It should be possible to beat under 50, I guess.
Nice! I think the mechanics are neatly implemented with the puzzles and it becomes intuitive real quick. I had a very hard time on level 7 until I figured out I was just stupid. When I make a mistake it is my mistake and it doesn't feel like it is the game's fault. Also great on mobile! Though while testing it on the phone the game scale to the left leaving a huge black letterbox on the right, but that is just minor polish that doesn't ruin the game in anyway. Very neat, cheers to my fellow magnet developer!
The game is cool! it has a pretty cool concept, the only problem is the art i feel like art isn't the same i mean for example the spikes are pixelated but background is vector anyway the game is cool! and it has the same idea as the theme but with magnets, keep up the great job dude! also, can you review my game i will be thankful ! game link:Box murder game
Very innovative idea! A bit too punitive with the scoring though, especially since you really have to switch on multiple magnets to really get all the coins. I would also probably add Num1/Num2/Num3 key support as it's faster than moving the mouse to switch them ON/OFF. Still, top marks from me!
nice game but i am too much of an idiot to finish level two. it would be greatly appreciated if you play my game https://itch.io/jam/gdevelop-game-jam-4/rate/2208939
Good game, I love the concept and manage to finished it! Well done :)
I'm really impressed by the game mechanics; the use of magnets is a fantastic idea. I had a great time playing, and it's actually one of the few games I've managed to play through to the end. My only suggestion would be to enhance the graphics, create a polished UI, and design a more captivating main menu. Additionally, considering the potential, it might be worth exploring the option of publishing the game on mobile platforms. Keep up the good work!
I played a second time to try to improve my score but somehow it was much worse (higher). Also, so that you know, there might be some kind of display error. At the end of my second game the list of scores started from about one third of the way down the screen. The last few rounds were outside the game area as was the total, so I didn't know what my total was unless I submitted it to the leaderboard.
Playing on Firefox (115) browser on Linux mint with the game fullscreen. Unfortunately I don't know how many rounds were visible but my memory is there was a lot there, so possibly only one or two plus the total missing. I will have another play to improve my score haha and get a screenshot at the end if the problem re-occurs.
Thank you! During the day I did make some edits and change the version, so maybe happened to play when one of the early versions was up. But I'll run some more tests just to be sure. Really appreciate you taking the time to give me the feedback. Excited for your game as well (hope it's easier than Hamster Run)!
Awwww haha, thank you for checking out Hamster Run which was a GD jam entry a while back. I don't think I'll be entering this game jam, my ideas weren't interesting to me and unfortunately I didn't keep thinking about it.
There's some good scores on your leaderboard now, hope the jam goes really well for you.
Here we go. This morning, my time, I played and submitted my score which was a new high for me. When I closed the leaderboard it automatically went back to Level 1 and I played again but this time pretty badly. At the end this is how the score screen looked. ,The exact same thing happened to me last night and I went to come here to post but then itch was down so I thought maybe it was an itch thing. Played again this morning, and same error. Both times my first game was a new high score followed by a bad game. This is the same error as a few days ago but I described it incorrectly then.
