  • While this genre of game is not one I am good at, I definitely saw enough to like it! I really like the character animations and the minimalist colour palette approach. Great work on this submission <3

Fun bullet hell navigation, it’s now you make the very clear patterns and create some interesting scenarios where you need to be in a certain place on screen to shoot forward yet are blocked and so forth. Nice level.

Streamed while playing this and commented throughout if you want to watch the playback. It's clear how much thought and attention you put into each enemies movement, look and bullet pattern. With a controller, I could easily see myself getting addicted to this one. Well done!

This is amazing. Great art. Great level design.

Developer(+1)

thank you so much, I'm blushing.

Very good! The map looks ok but it's very challenging, which is a good thing.

Developer

Thanks a bunch for playing, the challenge is good! Best way to may a game last longer than it actually is, is by throwing a whole bunch of enemies at the player.

This is sooo good. Love the different movement and attack patterns of the enemies and how varied they are. The last boss took a lot longer to kill than I expected. I like the message at the end too. I don't think I would have got that far if I didn't get stuck in a root. I think if the player is off the screen, it should be game over. On a normal playthrough, I had a lot of fun and love all of the visual elements, animations and how you have to walk around obstacles as well as dodge bullets. This is one of my favorites.

high praise thanks so much. The end boss went through so many changes and I was never really happy with it. In the end, I just slapped 250 health on it and called it a day, if I could change anything it would be the boss.

I'm happy that you enjoyed the obstacles and enemies, it was hard to get the balance correct.

Great art direction.

Developer

thx, I tried to keep the pallet simple.

really loved the style. the gameplay was extremely hectic but fun to weave through massive waves of bullets.

Developer(+1)

thxs for playing, it's hard to balance these types of games so I have no idea if it was too hard or too easy sometimes.

Love the baked art style, with the bright red bullets, it adds a lot to readability. The environment being hard for the player was also a nice touch, while the enemies just went through.

The highlight for me was the main character, really liked the overlaying of the heart on top of the hooded figure. Great work, great style!

Thanks for liking the style, I'm chuffed with how it turned out.

fun fact the hooded character is made from pictures of me derezed down.
