I really liked the art and juice in this. Would have been great if you had time to implement a little more.

Developer

Thanks Dev Pirates :) I can only agree with you with the lack of challenge at the actual state of the game. Hope to reach the gameplay round and probably push the gameplay further in the next round (fingers crossed).

loved the nice confetti popping up! I'm always fascinated with video card games, great, classy choice of art!

Developer

Thanks spoonsweet ! I hope to honor the genre if future rounds if I can go through ^^

The art on the cards is really nice and I like that they are set at a little angle so it looks good when stacking them. As Spike Studio already mentioned, I too think it would be better if you could have all the cards to snap with. I think a time limit to sort each round would be cool and if you make a mistake the game ends, perhaps getting faster each round. Really good game and the screen shake and confetti were great

Thanks. I had no more time to create a much more appealing gameplay, but yes, your suggestions are welcome. The idea that came along was to sort the cards, and when you click "Next cards", if there are cards left to be stack the game ends or you get a king of penalty. Will try things if I go through round 1 :D

The juice when placing a card was really nice! I enjoyed the confetti, I so wish I was able to sort all cards though, instead of just the first 3 I decided to go with. I also liked the art of the cards, nice job!

Developer

Thanks, and yes, the game loop does not exist yet ! So we don't know what to do with the cards (:

I like the idea, but it feels like you are limited to just 3 pairs of cards, which is a shame, however the game looks really nice and polished, and I like the confetti when you pair up the cards

Developer

Thanks for your comment. You're right, the rules and gameplay are not defined yet ! So it's a bit frustrating at the moment ^^^More to come if I get to the round 2 !

nice visuals and effects. I would like to see a game loop added on to this project I think you have a good framework for a fun and visually interesting card game!

Developer(+1)

Thanks ! I share your need of a game loop :p I hope to reach round 3 to dive into it more, but will probably add a game loop with a goal, from round 2 if I pass the first one !

Great game feel to this, very satisfying animations and screenshake.  The visuals all work together really nicely. Nice work :)

Thanks a lot Charlie !

Simple, fun little game! The tweens were great and the cymbal crash added so much to it. I enjoyed trying to time the crash to the music, too.

Best of luck to you in the next round, fellow C3 user!

Thanks ! I put all my efforts on assets coherence and game feel, as it is a skill I have to improve (aside from coding). Glad you enjoyed this simple game and hope to have something much more interesting if I manage to go to round 3 :D

Nice job on the cards and animating them in & out. Something about the cymbal crash and screen shake that made the whole thing feel satisfying :)

Thanks for the rating and the kind comment Marlin !
Will check your game ASAP.

PS : your comment has been duplicated (itch lag I presume), perhaps you could delete the second).

Weird. I didn't notice that before. I deleted it :)

Thanks ^^ I noticed it could occur when you have ratings not saved, and you comment at the same time (something like that).
