I wrote this game using Java without any additional libraries or engines while also trying to make it as small as possible. PLEASE VIEW THE GAME PAGE, THE GAME DOESNT HAVE A TUTORIAL WHEN YOU DOWNLOAD IT

Fun concept! Sadly the "game engine"-less approach is holding you back since it didn't feel responsive enough, like I clicked but it didn't always do anything? Cool that you did it in Java though, good job!

a fun and useful fact about java:

you need java to use java, and if you already have java and it isn't working, you are using it wrong

At first I tried to build a base but that was generally speaking a very bad idea, after that I proceed to run in circles while internally screaming. I'm honestly impressed you managed to do this much with Java, good work!
