Pretty neat, the transparency of the walls makes things interesting, the variety of enemies it cool, over-all a pretty neat little game.
Thank you for playing! I didn't have time to to get too many enemies in the game so I tried to make them different enough to add a good variety.
Cool adaptation into a 3D game, I like how it becomes about navigating corridors, but the game is a lot harder since the range of sight is lower and you cannot spot incoming gaps, but the enemies and extra mechanics were done really well!
Thank you. The limited line of sight was why I decided to keep the barriers moving in one direction per line, it ended up too random and removed any element of planning or strategy when the gaps moved in two directions.
SO COOL! I never would have thought it would work for 3D in a satisfying way but this was great! I too merely jumped over enemies instead of bothering to shoot but this was awesome! Great job!
Thank you so much! I preferred to shoot things, but I also tried to offer up a jumping past strategy by play testing both during development and adjusting things. I think it could have used more work balancing things, though.
This is really cool. Everything looks really nice and the game works very well. Making it 3D was a good idea.
I didn't find shooting very useful. The enemies might have too much health. It doesn't seem worth it to try to shoot them, instead of just jumping over.
Thank you. I tried to offer up more than one strategy that a player could use, when play it during development I was a fan of shooting things to clear my path sometimes. I'm happy to hear that someone else's strategy also worked.
Awesome work with the third dimension!
Very smart keeping the concept the same. I liked the vertical jump and the bullets.
But I really really liked the art design. Also the health pool was forgiving, and made it easy to adjust the distance from the walls. Great work!
Thanks you so much and thanks for playing. I was getting a little worried part way through and had to make a lot of adjustments just to get it where it is now. I still feel like it has more to go.
really like how you took this in a new direction. I beat the game on my second attempt but it was fun enough for me to try again if I'd have died.
Thanks for playing. I tried to balance it out to make the challenge fun but not too difficult.
Nice idea to take this to the third dimension, I also like the sprite work and additions like shooting, lazer beams and that use the 3d to also allow jumping on that new dimension to avoid these robots.
I feel like the balancing could be a bit better and maybe making the level layout more different per stage would be cool.
Great submission!
Thank you for playing. I agree that the balancing could have used more work and a little more stage variation.
The bad - I think the buggers should have been a little wider or brought more to the front as it looked like there was enough space to walk past them
The good - The fact that you made all of the artwork and music is great and it looks and sounds really good too, especially liking your main character and the futuristic look. I also like how you kept the essence of the original game whilst choosing to change the perspective to a horizontal layout which works really well with the 3D designs. Furthermore, I like how the buggers can be jumped over and it makes you think in all directions
I can see that in the buggers, probably because they are hovering up a little more than they look.
Thank you, I was trying to make something different but using most of the same mechanics.
Lags on my PC, so I couldn't get the full expierience
Bummer. I developed it on my laptop and tried to optimize it further. Sorry it didn't run well for you.
