Perhaps needed some fine tuning on the enemies: I wasn't blocking very well but made it to the end with about 4/5ths of my health.
Otherwise, an interesting take on the theme, and nicely drawn artwork too~
Thanks for checking it out, Ran-chan. I programmed the health to do 1/5th damage at 15% max health and that makes it very difficult to die (but still possible). Since it's just a game jam game I didn't want it to be difficult. Thanks for the feedback!
I thought it was strange that you had to click on lifeboats to open up portals. It made it deflecting bullets pretty difficult. Otherwise, felt like a total badass. "I am.. the ONLY ONE!" describes you too doesn't it?
Ya i was a bit splashy on the design in retrospective. I planned to flush it out more but ran out of time. Thanks for the feedback, Sam!
I am so impressed by the sound and the level/game design, but it hurts to give this game only two stars for the adherence to the theme :(
Great game <3
Thanks, Konstipower! I attempted to approach the theme more from a thematic standpoint rather than mechanically and that was probably a mistake. Appreciate the feedback ☺️
I like that you tried to have a completely different take on the "only one" theme. You could argue that this is part of the gameplay of course. Though I think you would feel it more if the attacks were more aggressive like thunder strikes (although I already felt bad to kill the people in their life boats :p).
Also the problem with overpowered characters is that there are often no real challenges for them which is also true for this game.
Overall I liked it and kudos for doing the voice overs yourself :p
I appreciate your time, Vurp. The voiceover work was really fun to do and I had a blast making something that was over the top. Cheers!
An amazing visual style and sound effects too. I enjoyed it through :)
Thanks, Andrew! Glad you enjoyed it.
This one was cool, but the "only one" isn't really a part of the gameplay
I can sure understand how you'd feel that way. I was making a silly attempt to be subversive with theme. C'thulhu's stick is being the "Only One" god over mankind. Regardless, thanks for checking it out 😄
I really liked the graphics and sound design! The whole mechanic felt really nice
Thank you, Selmecitom!
Good job, the graphics is amazing. It was easier, but who can stand against Cthulhu.
Ya most of my previous game jam games were a little hard so tried to swing the other way this time. Thanks for playing my submission.
Cthulhu sleeps no more! Really good art style. The game was a bit easy but that's fine.
Ya I tried to make sure it was easy so anyone who played could get to the boss. A lot of the ease is dependent on RNG from where your portals are summoned also. Thanks for playing, Donitz.
Great game although it is on easy side. Im for sure wasnt clear about the game on first run until I realized I have to eat / sacrifice those people on lifeboat.
Thanks for giving the game a try. I'm sorry but I cant reciprocate because I'm on an OSX machine 😢Appreciate your time though.
Just finished the game! The graphic is great (looks like hand drawn but I am not sure)! It is a little repetitive at the beginning but I totally didn't expect a boss at the end. A cool boss design, I like how you have to strategically launch your meteor when his shield are pointing downward. Great job!
Thank you, knox777 for the useful feedback and kind comments. I tried to play your game but I'm on OSX. Sorry about that 😢
Thank you for making my power fantasy a reality.
Check our game! https://cerosware.itch.io/one-stick-shooter
Haha I'm glad you like the power fantasy. Thanks for the comment.
Awesome game and awesome art! That robot stood no chance.
I feel like it does everything it wants to do quite well, no complaints here. Nice work!
Cheers, Bennett! Glad you enjoyed it and appreciate the feedback 😄
Had a lot of fun destroying everyone as a great eldritch horror. That art must have taken a while. RISE!!!
Ya, the art was a big time sink but I do like how it came out. Thanks for checking it out, Kevin. 😁
Wow. You really have a great art skill. And I love the idea of getting projectile from the ship. And I am looking forward to more enemies! Btw, Great design on the boss battle with the "shield". Max score rated!
Hey thanks, Beaver Joe! Glad you enjoyed it. Appreciate you checking out the game and your kind comment.
Holy moly! This game is brilliant! I am surprised at how little votes it has, you should definitely post it in the under-20-ratings chat on Discord, this game deserves so much more attention.
Great job at producing this game in 48 hours, I think this is a very original title, and is very fun to play! I didn't understand how to control the comets though. I know there's a tutorial text to say how to use the comets but, it flashed by so fast that I didn't get time to read it.
Great job, you deserve so much more!

I really appreciate your encouragement and such high praise. Your feedback about the comet mechanic is spot on and by far the thing I wished I'd had more time to explain to the player. I was hoping to place indicators to direct the player on how comets worked but ran of time (grab life boat = get 1 (only one) comet to throw from the green portal in the sky). I wasn't aware of that discord chat and I'll do that. Thank you for the tip and such great feedback!
Nice interesting, not what I was expecting. Love the HP theme are you a big fan?
The gameplay was simple to understand and could be picked up quickly, I would suggest changing the controls for the comets as this was the only thing I didn't understand at first.
I did love how powerful you felt as Cthulhu, which due to the lore around it fits very well.
Thanks, Late Panda! I've always been fascinated by cosmic horror but only recently been actively reading/researching it. Great feedback about the comets. Basically the mechanic is you grab a lifeboat and then you can summon a comet to throw but I ran out of time to explain that better. Appreciate your comment!
Yeah, I managed to figure that out but by the time I got it my health was low.
Thankfully you added the mechanic to regain, so I got through the robo boss
Wow. Pretty neat artwork !
It's fun to kill everything in your way like a real bad guy !
Almost died due to the dirigibles and submarines. Maybe add more humans boat to kill them faster ? Or i"m just maybe a crappy monster.
Good job ! Nice submission
Thanks for checking it out, Grey. Glad you enjoyed my submission.
Awesome artwork! Really great stuff. It's cool feeling like an unstoppable monster :D puny humans!
Thanks for giving it a shot, Pet Pumpkin
Cool art and overall enjoyable game . Nice work!
Appreciate that, Furettto.
