I do love the progression of the kings' names.

Feels suuuuuuper nice, I really like it!

Not sure how well this game actually adheres to the theme of 'only one'. It feels as though you already had a platformer in mind before the jam, and tried to fit it into the theme, instead of really exploring what you could have done.

Game controlled okay, and the soundtrack was solid!

Agreed! But it was quite the opposite. I had a few themes feeling solid at the start but since I spent way too long polishing the platforming controls and feel, it slowly fizzled out. :( I then ended up deciding to see if a game like this would read with one colour, but admittedly the theme is hardly present mechanically. Learned a lot from this jam, I'm way too used to working on longer projects. Thanks for the comment, much appreciated :)

Great game. Simple and follows the theme well. Controls are intuitive and easy to pick up on. Short yet challenging levels keep you trying to win !

Loved your  take on the challenge,  really good platform design. Especially fond of the "John I" and "Douglas I" being together, since John Douglass is my favorite youtuber

Well done, reminds me of super meat boy but this is kinda different and has it's own controlling system.

When Rogue Legacy had a son with Super Meat Boy. Very well designed, not so adherent to the theme (one dinastic line, yeah, a bit of a stretch for this theme though), even less original.

(is there a reference to Jackfilms? I mean, John Douglass...)

Really solid platformer, feels juicy to play, but the theme is completely absent in the actual mechanics

Nice presentation, fun game! I included it in my GMTK Game Jam 2019 compilation video series, if you’d like to take a look. :)

Good game, I enjoy it

Incredible game. Sadly the game play is not affected at all by the theme. 5 on design. 1 on Theme.

Some  seriously solid and technically demanding level design there, much like one of my favorite platformers ever, Supeeeeeeer Meat Booooy!

Great platformer with tight controls. It looks simple but with all the tweenish animations it’s look great. A lot of variation in terms of level layout, it does not feel repetitive. The background music keeps entertaining too!

Really enjoyed the levels Case! The sfx and subtle animation details added so much  to the overall experience. I also loved the small name generator on the top right haha

I really enjoyed this game, it has some of the best platforming I've ever played in my life.

All the game effects are also very satisfying and I was hooked for a long long while.

Just wow! I'm really impressed.

Hey, we made a GMTK game too. Check it out!

Really well done and fun game with great and challenging level design and incredible amount of polish, but I don't really see the connection to the theme of the jam here. Great game in it's own good but the adherence is almost missing.

The amount of polish in this game in unbelievable. It felt awesome to play! Great job!

Beautifully polished game that controls well. Something to mechanically distinguish it from Supermeatboy and the like would have pushed the originality rating up for me

Great visual design and polish!

The theme didn't realy feel central to the game though (at least mechanically).
