This game has a surprising amount of depth. Well done!
Thanks!
This is a seriously tough puzzle game for me haha. Really good design on some of these levels. I wasn't able to finish it on one of the swapping block levels, though. It kinda reminds me of the ice puzzles a lot of games have. Except instead of the player sliding along the ice until they hit a wall, it's the platform. I do agree with what Gavin said about the game but I don't really have anything meaningful to add to that argument, sorry 'bout that. Either way, it's a nice and polished game. Well made for 48 hours of time, and with quite a bit of content.
Thank you! And yeah I kinda based the mechanic off the ice puzzles from pokemon, nice job picking up on that :)
Really great game, got stuck a few times, the puzzles are really well thought out. Difficult too! very polished. Nice job!
Thanks for checking it out!
Unique idea!! Visuals and gameplay are great, the control is a little confusing for me, sometimes I'll forget which hand controls what, if there's one thing I'll change, I'll slow down the platform just a bit :)
Thanks for the feedback :)
Thank you for taking so much time to think about this, it really means a lot! And I can 100% see where you're coming from there. If I had complete control over the project with no theme, it would've turned out much different and probably better. You make a point that the theme is truly realized in a game when it isn't hindered by it, and I think that's a really useful thing to keep in mind while judging. This jam needs more in-depth criticism like this, so keep doing what you're doing and thanks for playing!
This is one of the best and most polish game i've played so far, is so good! Really like the gamefeel overall.
Thank you!
Such a simple concept, and yet so much fun! You really do a lot with the mechanics, and I really enjoy how you need to figure out how to maneuver your platform and how to jump around to make it to the end! It was at times a little hard to tell when I needed to move the platform or just try to platform, which I definitely felt more towards the later levels. Other then that though, very nice job! It plays really well and it's overall super polished for a jam game!
Thanks so much, glad you liked the concept.
Love this game, but it also made me SUPER angry. Couldn't finish it, but got to the level with the + shaped platform and the on/off switches. Very creative level design, just a bit too difficult for me.
Did you try making the hitboxes on the spikes smaller? Seems a bit unforgiving, even another pixel or two would be nice.
Yeah that probably wouldve been a good idea, but I'm impressed you got that far, most people dont. Thats the last level so I kinda didn't hold anything back lol
This is difficult! We needed to bring in a partner who has more experience playing platformers to get past around level 6. It's very fairly difficult, though; all the information is fairly presented, there's not much in the way of unfair platforming tests, and it handles pretty smoothly. We got far enough to see a couple creative uses for the slow sliding green block. It's clear you put a lot of thought in to the game's design.
Thanks for the feedback, I'm glad you persevered that far :)
A lot of puzzle platformers mash the genres together without reason, but not this one. Love how the platforming is actually part of the puzzle; some parts seem impossible until you remember that you can move and jump! As well, the execution feels spot on - playing through the level again after dying isn't a drag and is actually fun. I don't think I have anything bad to say about this! It's that good!
Thank you, glad you enjoyed it!
Really solid execution. Super polished for only 48 hours, and mixing sliding block puzzles with platforming was a new challenge I didn't know I wanted!!
Thank you!
That took a bit of getting used to! I love how simple it is but the fact you're controlling two 'things' both with their own weaknesses (mines, walls etc) really makes it a thinking puzzle. Must have taken some time to design the levels? Good job!
Thanks, and yes some of them certainly did!
This is really great! The main mechanic is not complex but brings a boat load of gameplay depth to the table and is a brilliant twist on the theme. I am not usually a big fan of puzzle games but this one I really enjoyed, you are able to digest and plan the entire level out and yet it stills functions as a dynamic and engaging platformer. The sound design and artwork is fantastic and overall this game creates an interesting and polished experience.
Thanks for making it!
Thank you so much! :)
Now this is pretty cool! The game makes good use of its central mechanic, and none of the puzzles felt obtuse! My only issue is the last puzzle, that last movement is very precise.
Thank you! :) Yeah I get that the last one is probably too hard lol.
Like it a lot! Didn't finish it (got stuck on 2nd or 3rd green box level >.<) but really loved the idea. nice job
Thank you, glad you enjoyed it :)
Had a really fun and puzzling time, great work!!!
Thanks!
Excellent idea and execution! Gameplay was very fun and challenging. The nice pixel graphics was a plus :)
I ran into one bug where if the platform runs into a slow block that's already against the wall, then they merge together and the platform gets stuck. Otherwise, fantastic game!
Dang, I thought I fixed that. Oh well, glad you liked it either way
I really like this. The mechanics are really tight, and figuring out how best to control them simultaneously is done in a really nice way. :)
Thanks, I appreciate it :)
This game is mind boggling. You have to control the blob and the scraper at the same time. It Really brings in the challenge.
I'm glad you lliked it!
Wow, I can see this getting addictive FAST! Good job! This would make a great mobile game!
Thank you so much! :)
