How does your game fit the theme?
Controls are loose, giving the player a feeling that they are "Out of Control". There is also an obstacle that reduces the player's control over their movements.

Took a while getting the feel of it, but enjoyed it once i got it. Great game!
Fun game! I really enjoyed it and it very much reminded me of those old flash games like the impossible game. This may just have been me but the diagonal pattern for the background started to really hurt my eyes after a while. Also, the fade to black screen didn't cover my entire screen and just the corner would fade out. One thing you could do to improve would be to have the checkpoints spawn the character with the same camera orientation they hit it at for consistency. Overall fun game and good luck!
Took me back to the days of additinggames and gamesloth! Very fun and I beat the game!
Nice game, took a bit of getting used to the controls.
incredibly polished for 48 hours!
I really liked this game, its very good I had a lot of fun playing, good job
The gameplay was cool. The rotation of the world and checkpoints were great. Good Job :D
I did get a sense of accomplishment after finishing it! The music was a bit terrible imo, and I would much rather prefer sound effects. In general I think a bit more time could be spent on juiciness instead of game lenght. Good work on the game!
Patterns and rotation is a no-no for my vertigo, but seem like a cool concept!
I accidently turned around halfway through the game due to how checkpoints worth and I stopped playing after that, the controls I think are a bit too loose and it becomes frustrating to control at times.
The visuals could be a bit better too.
The patterns made my eyes hurt, but otherwise great game!
I love the idea, and excellent execution. A few notes:
1. I got turned around half way through and ended up backtracking. There are a few possible solutions to this problem. You could add directional arrows, you could keep rotation after death, and/or you could make it so previous checkpoints cannot be activated.
2. Your mechanic and level design incentivises slow, methodical play.... which in my experience is the least fun way to play your game. I'd imagine that'd make this game great for speedrunning, but first time around it felt like the best way to play was to go excruciatingly slowly.
3. The best part of the game for me was when the rotation mechanic and no-control-blue-zones interacted. It was so much fun to rotate and bounce the ball. Honestly, if you continue work on this, I might redesign the game to focus on this kind of mechanic.
The Newgrounds flashbacks are real with this one! The flash aesthetic was amazing! May I ask which engine/framework you used for this game?
I used Godot 3.2.2.
Oh wow! I didn't know Godot's web export was this great! Gotta give it a go in the next jam :D
Yeah, all you need to do is use html export and name your file "index.html", then zip all the stuff it gives you as output together.
I enjoyed the game, and the art. It was fun, and kind of mind-warping. (:
I'm not sure I'd make it past the testing. I overcorrected quite a few times. Fun game!
I'll say the same. I'd love it for you to keep the same direction when going to checkpoint. Also, the hitboxes felt really punishing. We did similar concepts but tackled them pretty much in opposite ways
Reallly liked the difficulty and the music. The thing that got me was sometimes the diretion that i should go.. got... kinda confuse.. especially after a respawn.. Something that indicates the right direction would help
I liked the art of the game and I thought this was a fun game and I could see myself trying to get far in the game I also thought the music was fun and this game went well with the theme
Nice one. For the first 10 minutes I thought this was a simple "World's Hardest Game" clone. But the screen rotation was quite a nice twist. The player hitbox could be a bit more forgiving, this could create more "That was a close one" moments !

I wasn't able to get very far into the game, it was just a bit too difficult for me. Also I like the idea that the controls are really lose, and I LOVE the bounce physics, but the level design kinda feels like I have to take it slow, when I want to go really fast. So while I love the idea of the game, I feel the level design is kinda working too hard against me. But this is definitely and interesting concept that I can find myself playing a lot with.
Good job!
