First attempt: trying to figure out how this works. Which keys should I press? How are they mapped to my physical keyboard? Does my keyboard layout matter? Got to 20%.
Second attempt: just going for it and hacking on whatever key is still highlighted! Feeling like a hacker! Got to 80%!
Third attempt: trying to memorize which buttons are where, very methodically and careful. Got to 20%. :P
I liked the second attempt best! :P For touch typing, I wished that the two keys on the home row would've been highlighted. I could see clicky key sounds work wonderfully here!
Nice little game for a few minutes, but not much replay ability after that ;P
Art is good though and music fits, good job!
this is just so much fun! there are so many things in this game that are obviously thought-through design decisions that all work so well together and i just enjoyed it sooo much. the music made it absolutely brilliant!

This is very creative!! I love these kinds of games that use the keyboard in unconventional ways. I am 10000% sure I am never going to get past 30% but I still like it.
This game is so hard to put down. The visual and audio feedback are both great and the concept is interesting too. The time limit makes it impossible to play with any precision so it just have to smashing keyboard in no time. There are moments when time is running out and yet I have a few letters to go, when I smash the keyboard through the word it just felt amazing.
Wow, this was great! As others have said, the UI, animations, and art are all on point. Very fun brain-bending concept too trying to learn a new keyboard on a time limit. First jam game that I've played that feels 100% complete. It's a simple idea executed well, one of the best of the jam in my book :)

I've got to be honest... You guys nailed it. This is engagement that I haven't felt for a long time.

I got into it once I decided to smash the keys (at first I didn't do it, because I thought it would make the bar get smaller faster, but that wasn't the case. Should have read the description first huh).
The line going down, as the amount of required keys needed to unlock the next stage increased every time, really gives an immertion worth reliving. My heart rasing even though nothing was going to happen. You made me achieve "suspension of disbelief", something that solely great game designers can do. I felt like a hacker for a moment (or like those gifs where they smash keys, but now it's actually the point)
I'm used to writing without looking at the keyboard, so scrambled keys it's really a nightmare to anyone who is used to a qwerty keyboard.
You guys achieved a level of frustration and ansiety that it's worth calling fun.

I was surprised how hard it would be to correlate the key position blinking with the key on my keyboard. I tried to zone out which letter it was, but my brain was admant to hit the letter shown on screen.
The production value is admirable.
