How does your game fit the theme?
Poggits can only take so many directions before they stopp listening to you and become out of your control, this could also be put as literly running out of controls as you can only press each button so many times

Neat idea!! Nice twist on the "let's remove your controls", much more fun than just assigning random inputs :)
Thanks!
Reminds me of thomas was alone. Neat puzzle but movement feels slightly inconsistent eg sometimes it continues jumping, sometimes not. Great artwork.
Cool concept with really nice visuals!
Interesting concept!
Interesting style and nice levels 👍
Really like the visuals, very clean.
The slightly acceleration based movement didn't really work for me in this context. Since you have only limited uses of each button, not being able to stop on a dime was a bit annoying. Particularly for level 8 where you have to have the red poggit press the button and it's very easy to over or undershoot it.
The grass preventing the poggits from jumping wasn't very obvious. I'm not sure exactly how you'd better represent it, but it should at least be a different color or something to stand out from the background.
Would be interesting to see more levels using the mechanic where the poggits keep going after they run out of moves.
Neat little idea, though jumping felt a bit too floaty and levels very pretty unforgiving to top it all. But despite the difficulty and some controls problems, I had fun playing it :)
thanks for the feedback! that last part about jumping is intentional though, any time you run out of controls it will just keep doing that action
Ah, thanks for the explanation! I thought that it might be intended, but when you're allowed to jump just X times per level, it felt strange to be able to jump forever for free. By the way, if you want to, you could draw some inspiration from "Toki Tori", they also have a limited amount of moves and this idea is very well-executed in this game. It's a puzzle game, but there are certainly many great ideas in it that your game could benefit from!
ok thanks! I'll look into it
Great game, love the aesthetic!
Pretty cool idea! I had many problems with jumping, sometimes hitting space does nothing :<
Thanks, that could be because you cant jump on grass or because you ran out of jump keys
Cool idea, and nice art and sound. However, it can be quite frustrating to control the poggits. This is mainly due to the jumping, there is no grace jumping and you have to hold down the jump button during the entire jump. Especially the latter makes jumping feel very unnatural.
Great idea! I'm not sure if I missed the explanation that the poggits can't jump in grass (?), but that sure made the later stages really difficult. Keep it up!
Thanks! Yes on the first level with grass there is a message about not being able to jump on it
This game is really good, but it could be better. There were a lot of rooms where the levels had multiple doors, but the game seems to be bugged where you can have the poggits leave through the same door.
Also, why not have the small orange poggit have a small door and the blug poggit have a big door? I really felt that you were going to go in that direction but you didn't and that makes me sad.
Still cool game though. :)
yes their is a bug where you can use the same door twice it is not supposed to be that way the reason they have the same size door is so you can get any poggit into any door making it so there can be more then one way to solve a puzzle as well as the fact that I had to work ans only had 24 hours to make this so adding things like that were vary low priority
loved the concept of the game!
the appearance of the game is simple but nice too
cute! I liked that the levels got harder and harder and liked that you could change between more than one poggit!
Great game, but certain aspects needed tightening up, such as having a little more consistency over the jump arcs and the ability to land on each other's heads. More often than not, I found myself slipping off or having to course correct middair, which used one of my inputs.
If these aspects were tightened up (maybe a system of locking on to each poggit's head?) this could be a really enjoyable puzzle platformer.
Also, I assumed the intention was to force every Poggit to have a unique exit, but in it's current form, all poggits can go through one door. I assume thats a bug, but it would definitely need to be fixed.
Thanks for the feedback!
The thing with the controls is a bug I didn't have time to fix. As for the door is it that any poggit can go into any door or that more than one can go into one door? if it is the latter than yes that is a bug as well, otherwise that is intentional
It was that multiple Poggits could go into a single door. I figured it was a bug but mentioned it in case you had somehow missed it. I assumed you hadn't, but wanted to be sure.
Ok thanks for the clarification :)
Really great idea and execution!
Great presentation, good concept, good level design, polished. I thought it becames a bit confusing once extra Poggits were introduced (since the input count mechanic itself was already not that easy), but that's fair difficulty!
Neat concept and some great visuals. I did find it kinda hard to control the jump and I didn't know when theyd do this small jump or a big one, other than that great little game
