nice game ! I love the idea,  the fun and stressful execution

Developer

Thanks for playing! Sadly didn't get to put in all my ideas, but it's a foundation for future versions!

This is a pretty neat idea! The death metre looming over me definitely made me feel a sense of urgency. If you continue making this after the jam adding the random events you mentioned on the game page would be a good addition!

Thanks for playing! I've got a lot of cool ideas to implement post-jam!

Cool I'll follow you so I can keep up to date with it

Aghghhh!! Time runs out on me!

Such is life. Fleeting, yet beautiful.

this game is pretty cool! the concept is very clever, I'm not sure about how it fits the theme bu i'm okey with that, keep going! rated! please check out my game too :D

Thanks for playing! The planned function involved a stress meter that made you more susceptible to tripping hazards and such, and you'd have to be careful not to throw things around too much, else you'd set the house on fire. Ran out of time. I'll give your game a go later!

This is a really cool concept and the mechanics are well executed. Good job!

Developer

Thanks for playing! Hopefully the post-jam release will soon have the proper functions implemented!

Took a few tries but finally escaped! My final run the horse was pretty easy to find haha. Didn't see too much of a link to the theme but nice enough gameplay :)

Developer

Thanks for playing! I didn't have time to introduce the actual twist that would have fit the theme - squashing bugs takes up a lot of time when you're a newbie. I'll come back stronger next year!

I like the design of the game, it fits perfectly with the theme of the jam. A well done game, congratulations.

I like the idea of this but after playing 4 times I just couldn't find the knight at all. I found the FOV of the camera really weird and the camera height. It wasn't super clear what you could interact with.

Maybe adding hints or clues to the knight location would help a lot

Developer

Thanks for playing!

Yeah, the FOV I simply forgot to correct as I was running out of time. And I had planned to give interactives an outline when within range, but couldn't get the shader working. I also had planned to make a 'horse finder' gadget but, again, not enough time. Wish I had another day or two, but that's how it goes!

No worries at all! Games jams are for fun and to learn. Don't beat yourself up for stuff that wasn't in the game. Just wanted to give some helpful feedback :)

Surprisingly quite fun. Had to try about 6 times before I actually found the thing. Good job!

Developer

Thanks for playing! If I return to this post-jam, I'll definitely make it easier to find the horse!

I did it! I got out.

Thanks for playing and well done!
