How does your game fit the theme?
The player doesn't get to choose when to jump, its necessary to get used to platforming when you can't control when you start jumping. You now have to deal with the consequences of jumping when you DONT want to. There are also a couple secrets, try to look out for weird/different looking walls! (You can read more about my thoughts on the jump timer mechanic on the game page if you're interested!)

5/5. I've seen this mechanic multiple times during this jam, but few were as polished. Gamefeel, level design, subtle sound effect, visuals, there's even an introduction! Really well crafted.

Wow, the game looks very polished! It took me a bit of time to get used to it. but it was very fun to play then! Awesome!

I love the looks and the music is perfect with how it matches with the jumping. It is also really fun :3

Really fun game and great polish! The art and audio was amazing and you managed to make a game that wasn't frustrating but still fitted the theme. I think that the section with the arrow pointing to the lava was too difficult, I'm usually not too bad at platformers but I got stuck on that section for a long time. However, overall the game was very enjoyable to play and the cut scene at the start was also a very nice touch, great job!

Great art and polish on the game! Really like the style and small visual effects on things like the lava bubbles.

Personally I don't have the patience for platformers and I think my impatience amplified by the timer mechanic, though this is through no fault of the game itself.

Great execution, if there was some basic audio for the jump and BGM I think this would be a perfectly polished game :)

Looks and feels fine! There really isn't much else to say, it's a well done auto jumper that feels polished and finished, like a complete experience. I'm impressed it was all done by the same person. Great job!

Great game, cool concept. Loved  the art, loved the cutesy animation, I can see there was a lot of work put into this game. I wpold like to point out that the audio design was fennomenal, seriously outstanding. Although you went for a different theme and feel, I couldn't help but see a lot of inspiration being taken from Celeste, and I congradulate you for that! Great job!

I beat the game after much hair pulling! Good balance of difficulty  Great concept and cool use of the mechanics in a puzzle setting. Really amazing the depth you were able to accomplish in so little time.

Cheers!

Although uncontrolled jumps seem to be quite common in this jam, you've got a really solid implementation. Beautiful graphics, nice fitting music and excellent introduction. The difficulty is indeed high, but it managed to keep me engaged and not rage quit. Nice idea of jumping mid-air, definitely adds more depth to it. I liked short respawn time too: it allows to keep trying without getting annoyed. Excellent job!

I just rated your great game! Thank you very much for watching the stream!
I would appreciate it if you could check out my game too!

I love the art and the music! There's so much of it and of really good quality, it's impressive how much you managed to do in such a short amount of time. My impression is that visual cues are harder than audio cues when it comes to rhythmic things, I think if the jump was synced with the music, or given an anticipatory beat, it might have felt more natural to play. I really liked the level design, it was on the harder side for me since the first world (I reached until around halfway through the third world), but all the mechanics kept each new world fresh, and all levels were exciting. Great work!

Definitely one of the more polished games I've played thus far and was really fun to stream. Ya'll nailed it!

Haha, you say "yall" like multiple people made it. Believe it or not, I did everything, I didn't sleep for 2 days... I'm glad you liked the game though!

then even more props to you! Very impressed!!!

Polished and music at the start is way too cute :)
i struggled a bit to keeping track of the jump progress bar at moving platforms , i guess that's how the crystal mafia works.
i am still trying to getting used to the controls but loads of fun :) Very good job!

The game is really one of the top ones. There are so many platformers, but only a few that manage to do an original, good job at the execution. This game, though, is impressive. I always had a similar idea with jumping, so it was really really interesting to see someone making the game about it (and the name is cool too). As any other submission, it would've been better with a little polish, but overall, it's already a well done game. Also, the art is lovely, I can't believe it was done in 2 days. Such an amazing entry, best of luck to you!

Amazing Game!, Never would have guessed such a simple concept could introduce this many interesting and difficult situations.

Loved this game! Having no control over jumping is really unique, well done!

Submitted(+1)

It was neat, but the controls were a bit off (Like the player would slide just further than you'd expect it to). The jumping every so often was a cool idea!

The Pixel art is amazing as well as the controls! This is possibly the best game (in the jam) that I've played!
