This was actually quite fun and enjoyable. All the weapons were very funny and fun to use. It was quite addicting as well. However I felt the hit detection wasn't always up to the mark. And while the self destruct was fun it was a little too easy to end up crashing into enemies. It's a fun little game none the less and you could maybe expand on it with you're own sprites and characters. Good job man :)

A fun take on the theme and enjoyable to play :) The variety of different weapons is great and I like the pixel art graphic style. With a bit of visual polish this could be really awesome! Nice job :)

Very fun game, one of the best timed weapon games. Nice variety with the weapons/powers. Maybe and some invincibility frames after some of the transformations, died too many times. :D

Polish up the graphics a bit and you have a real winner! Good job!

Thanks for playing! I'm glad you liked it! I agree, and i think that giving you a small timer where you know when your weapon is gonna disappear or what weapon you're gonna get would have helped a lot

I played the game just like you asked me to and I have absolutely no regrets! I really enjoyed playing this game! I really enjoyed messing around with all the random weapons that you were able to get! What I personally really like about this game is the fact that the weapons are so different from each other and yet they are all very effective and fun to use! A lot of games usually have weapons like pistols, shotguns, swords, bows, hammers. While this game has a huge snake, a fire demon, self destruction, a green shell, thunderbolts, etc. I personally think that's what makes this game stand out from other ones and I absolutely love that! Great job! ;D

Your game is super fun! I love all of the weapons like the green shell. All of the weapons feel unique and special. I enjoy the arena combat of the game, it makes everything close quarters and super intense. I also appreciate you showing where enemies will spawn, that makes the entire game far better in my opinion.

If you wanted to continue to build, some sort of health system would be nice. The one hit kill seems kind of brutal. Maybe you could experiment with levels with a set type of enemy. Between levels the player could spend some score on new weapons. You could have the traditional progression tree or a random weapon giver. 

This game is fun already and has tons of potential. I can't wait to see what you do with it in the future. Best of luck on the jam and with your future game dev projects!

this game is phenominal! straight into my favorites list!

my favorite weapon is the lightsaber.

it would be cool if you had some kind of in-game tutorial (or grace period before starting the action to allow the player to get acclimated to the controls). one option is to fill the room with harmless dummies or NPCs that start spawning the other enemies once they are killed.

Very smart concept:  simple to understand yet not easy to reach a high score, making the game even more interesting, challenging and catchy 👌

The swapping, graphics and soundtrack are really cool, keep up the good work!

Very original and well executed concept!

Would have liked a visual guide on the bomb to show the radius, as right now it's a bit hard to tell.

All the weapon types were fun to use and there weren't any "dud" weapons.

This was a lot of fun! I'd like to see this turned into a longer game.

The only criticisms I have are the kinds of things you'd expect from a jam: running into enemies right after Green Shell ends, for instance.
