This has so much character. The art style and palette are gorgeous. I am still not sure what I'm doing and I suppose that fits the intended experience of things getting lost in translation pretty well.

Cool idea! The art style and sound is satisfying and the idea is really cool. My main criticism is that most of the time I can just spam a direction and I'm still able to win. The game was still pretty fun and charming!

Although I couldn't really tell what was going on, I really appreciated the art style!

Neat concept, but somewhat confusing. Didn't grasp the mechanics, felt like a slightly more complex rock-paper-scissors. Mashing buttons appeared more effective than trying to memorise commands. Great art, though. Keep it up!

a game where you try to have a conversation with an alien who doesn't share your language is an awesome idea! i do feel like this, as a prototype, could definitely use some iterating though... in its current form, it feels mostly like just watching a random number generator. if there was some way that you could learn from the options, pick up on context, and get more regular and repeatable results than just hoping for the best dice roll then i think this could turn into a really cool game (instead of a clicker with a neat aesthetic)!

A nice game idea, just seems cut down by the time constraints of a game jam. It'd be cool to see a more completed version of this.

It's a nice, charming game with a great concept. The same can't be said about its execution, though - I think the game could've benefited a lot from a slower speed. Due to the short time the player has to make choices, its challenge comes less from carefully reading the situation and choosing the better option and more about scrambling to do something at all.

Great presentation and sound effects!

Very nice smart and fun little game i enjoy it :) good job

Nice art and idea! I would turn down the speed a little bit when I should choose the options.

Great idea and good-looking art.

Ok so I think there's something here that has potential, I didn't really get what I was doing most of the time, or how it affected the alien. (Also if you just smash left and right you eventually win all the time) That may be a bit of a but related to how patience works.  The art style is AMAZING y completely love it. Great job!! I read that this was your first jam! NICELY DONE! Finishing a jam is an incredible task to do, and you said that you hopped it dind't suck much. Don't be so hard on yourselve, anything you can deliver in 48hs is already amazing. Keep attending game jams!! You learn alot each time!- Congrats on finishing, great job!

I'm not sure I entirely understand the positive vs negative. I think it would be a lot easier to play if the patience went down a bit slower. I found I had to rush to press and button, and that doing it faster was a lot better than taking it slowly.

It was quirky, but when i understood what to do, it was over. It was almost completely random which, by itself, wasn't really compelling. However, the art was outstanding and it was origina though i don't feel like it was the best idea for a game. Perhaps if it was more than just binary options it could test reflexes, memorization or... something.
It was your first gam jame, so don't feel too bad about it! Hope you can learn from this so you can become way better as an artist and as a designer!

It was a bit difficult to understand at first, but once you got into it it was quite funny and charming. I liked the voice of the alien, it gave the game a lot of character :) I think to make it better it might be best to kind of leave out the first screen that was a lot of information on how to play, and maybe have a little text underneath each symbol (like 'joke' underneath the little face and stuff). That might have made it a little clearer, and made the learning curve a bit more even. But overall quite a fun and quirky game.

Great art and an interesting concept!

I loved the art style !

What a cool concept. The randomness kinda kills it. I wish you had more time per turn and maybe more options available.

A very unique idea with a similarly unique art style.
