How does your game fit the theme?
Our game is about losing control over your character. As his bloodlust rises, you lose control. In his demon form he will go so far as to attack enemies automatically and hunt them down. Try and regain control and your humanity.

This is amazing. xD
Glad you enjoyed it!
Very good concept, loved the bloodlust theme, it fits really well with incrementally losing control. The visuals are very nice. Well done!
Thank you! Glad you liked it :)
A really well done entry! Great looking art style and really nice music. The idea / theme interpretation is really cool, too. Traveling through this weird world infested by demons and babies alike is pretty fun. The controls are very smooth most of the time, though sometimes there seems to be some glitch with both the air jump and wall clinging. I also agree with Marshall Cannon - having to move down the level isn’t really a pleasant experience, since it’s so easy to accidentally fall to your death. Other than that, it’s a really impressive game. Nicely done!
Thanks for the feedback!
Nice work! I loved the graphics and music. I felt like I would often die from not knowing where I was falling because of the camera, so maybe less vertical level design would help. Also, it appears we both included a bloodlust meter in our games, lol :) Great job!
Absolutely. We plan on designing less downward momentum and more vertical and horizontal. We unfortunately ran short on time when designing the actual levels.
The concept is great
the platforming is hard, i don't think i got very far
We'll try to tweak the level design. Thanks for playing!
I liked the movement with the limited charges. I rRan into a couple bugs with wall grabbing and the game over screen, but nothing too serious. My biggest gripe is having to move downwards through the level without being able to see the platforms below me. I also wasn't 100% sure on what I was supposed to be doing. I was just trying to kill all the devils.
Do you know how to reproduce the wall grabbing bug? Thanks!
Very impressive! I loved the concept and would be interested in a full game with this as a core! I did notice that the start menu on restart seemed to offset based off of where i died, not an issue just thought I would mention it :)
We'll be continuing to develop and build on it. That bug came up in the last half hour, so I didn't have time to fix it :P but we'll have a bug fix build up soon :)
I really liked the art :O nice job !
Thanks! Our artists worked their butts off
A very good and appealing game overall, excellent work for 48 hours
The art and audio is well-made and fits together with the game's overall atmosphere. It's hard to believe there is only one programmer on the team cause they did a good job. I can really see this game published with more polish.
There are a few things that I gotta point out though:
-Demon mode is clearly superior and there is no punishment for being in it. Then what is the point of being in human mode?
-There are moments like the entrance of room three where I try to make a normal jump but if I jump too soon I will hit my head on the ceiling or if I jump too late and I will immediately go into a dash, crashing into the platform ahead and fall to my death. I would suggest adding coyote time or a checkpoint to make this a more enjoyable experience for players.
-The game screen is rather small, there are times where I just don't know where to go next because I can't see nearby platforms and there is no hint like coins or something. I had to look at the game's screenshots to know that you can go up from the entrance of room three.
Some bugs that I found:
-There is a dead end on the far left of room three where you can just fall through and die.
-Baby will sometime teleport
-Game over screen breaks after losing
-Disconnecting controller doesn't return to keyboard control mode
Overall, it is a good game and the combined effort of the team. I had fun.
Thanks for commenting on my game btw :)
Thanks for all the feedback! I wanted to implement Coyote time, but just didn't have the chance to during the time limit. I will in a future build though! There was supposed to be an incrementing level of bloodlust rising and cool down checkpoints that didn't get implemented. This was going to be the balance for demon mode. We'll have some bug fixes and small changes in a build coming soon :)
Great game!
Glad you had fun!
Nice work with art & sound. I really like what it transmits.
Thank you! Glad you liked it
The sound and character design is killer! So fun to look at and play.
Thank you :)
The ending brought tears to my eyes. 0/10 too many emotions
This is a fast, exciting, and interesting platformer! It seems like beating up all the babies is always good, though...
Took me some times to figure out how it works, some very small tutorial description at the begin screen would be cool. But I liked it once I figured it out. The enemy variety and art assets are also cool, really nice work for 48 hours!
thanks Arkar! I absolutely agree. The levels were built within the last hour believe it or not. We did intend to design some levels and obstacles forcing you to learn the mechanics (including a sanctuary to reset your bloodlust) but unfortunately time was our enemy there.
We plan to continue working on it once we get some rest!
