Interesting idea! the gamplay gets a little tedious (unless I'm missing something), but with some refinement it could be good :)

Developer

Thanks for the feedback. We had some ideas for different mechanics to make gameplay more diverse(different types of enemies and elements that attract the NPC rather than scare them) but ultimately did not have the time to implement them. Hope you still had some amount of fun.

People before me already made all the valuable points. I still love the concept, where you have to lead your guy to safety, but I thought ghosts are going to chase me when I played. I really think this can be an entertaining game if ghosts could chase you and the guy moves in real time when you spook him without placing the spooks.

Nice idea! But I couldn't finish the first level. The movement of the character need a little work and I think you're too strict with the number of ghost props.

The mechanics were pretty spot on :) Some work can be done on the polish though to make it shine even more.

On the whole, a great job dude

Btw check out my game and give me some feedback yeah?

Creative idea.

Controlling the guy is very finnicky. I had to do the first level several times after I figured out the solution because the character would end up twitching next to a wall or standing right next to the exit.

Developer

Yeah we should have invested more time into making the movement and mechanics a little smoother but I guess we got kind of used to it being finicky.

There are some interesting things you can do with stone blocks by either placing them on top of the NPC to push him a little or by blocking the line of sight to a ghost prop you placed to stop the NPC from moving. These mechanics aren't strictly needed to complete the levels but they can be incredibly helpful if used right.

Thank you for playing and for the feedback. I hope you still had a little fun playing the game. We are still learning and improving. Next year will be better.  Cheers.

it wasn't the most good looking game, but in terms of gameplay was really interesting, one of the most interesting ive seen so far (and i have rated like 20 or so)

Developer

Thank you. Yeah I still have to work on my sprite and texture skill but I am really glad you liked the gameplay.

interesting idea, the art and everything is on point too! but it took me TOOOO long to complete the levels, just couldn't get him to the exit.

Thank you!!! You can press escape to skip a level if it is too hard. But I know what you mean. "Controlling" the NPC is hard until you get the hang of it. Thanks for the feedback man.
