How does your game fit the theme?
You are not allowed to control your ship without first following the protocols. There's an approval process. It's outta your control.

Overall quite good. Getting denials on a move can seem arbitrary. It would be cool if there were criteria you had to meet to get approval. Loved the presentation. Well done.
Thanks! Yeah, it was sorta random. Basically I had it start at like 80% chance you'll get a yes, and each time you get a "yes" the chance decreses by 10%. Each time you get a "No" it increases by 10%.
Thanks for your feedback!
Great idea that make the failure very fun when you still need to wait for an authorization while an asteroid rush at us. The voice acting is interface is also well done. However, may be a little too frustrating to playing it a long time.
Haha, I'm glad you appreciate that! Thanks so much! Yeah, it's more of a concept game. I suppose it would need a lot broader scope to make it stay fun longer. Perhaps ship combat where you have to ask permission to fire lasers! lol
Very nice concept. Nice feedback on the thrusters when turning.
Thanks! An unfortunate bug I didn't notice until it was too late (cause I submitted my final version with 1 minute to spare) is that my main afterburner particle effects don't seem to show up at all in the web build. I think maybe WebGL doesn't support the additive shader I used for those. I'm glad at least the retrothrusters show up.
Nice :) Very frustrating but in a good way - really fits the theme :)
I'm glad you think so! :) Thanks!
Very interesting concept! I liked the idea, but it would be better if the dialogues were a bit shorter. Great game!
Thanks for the feedback! Yeah I suppose it can get frustrating when you have to wait for someone to say their line. haha!
Visually it is very beautiful, the voices are very charismatic, however there is a shuffling of voices in some audios that makes it a little difficult. Overall, great work!

Thanks so much for the feedback! When you say shuffling, do you mean you had voices talking over each other, or was there something about the recording quality?
The first! The recording quality combined with the game!
Took me a while to figure out, very original idea!
I greatly appreciate you sticking around to figure it out! Thanks for the feedback!
The game was really fun, especially the voice. Nice job!
That was my favorite part about this one too. My friend did the Houston voice which has all the different variations, and was going to do the other voices but ran out of time, so I used my placeholder Captain voice which didn't have any variations unfortunately. Thanks so much for your feedback!
This game is funny, well made, well design, challenging and was made in only 48 hours? Truly amazing. Bravo!
Wow, thank you so much! I'm glad to hear that. Yes, it was a challenge to get it done. I submitted within 30 minutes of deadline, then found a handful of critical bugs and barely got them fixed and resubmitted with ONE minute to spare!
I love the voices. Game kept me busy for a while. Well done!
That is so good to hear! I appreciate your feedback!
loved the graphics and sound.

Thanks so much! Glad to hear it!
You grow on the voice actors!
Excellent
The idea behind this is incredible! I love everything, just I felt it was a little buggy, I would turn slightly too much to the left and I would get called out for it :/ Great job though! Here's my game https://itch.io/jam/gmtk-2020/rate/697413 tell me what you think :)
Thanks so much for the feedback! It sounds like maybe you did turns without getting the green light from both Houston and Crew?
I'll check out yours!
Oops, I probably did
Bonus points for the custom voice over! That’s a fun game, even with how ridiculously small the maneuvers are.
I'm glad you appreciate the voice over. I thought it would be crucial for this game idea to work.
VERY VERY Good. Very funny!
Glad you found it humorous!
Absolutely brilliant! This is such a fun game!! Very original! Love everything about this!
Thank you so much for the kind words!
I really enjoyed playing this! I love the premise and it's super unique. The only things I feel like it was missing was the ability to look around (I kept getting caught off guard by asteroids) and something that told you how far you were away from earth. Aside from that a great submission! Love the audio
Thanks for the feedback! There is a little distance to earth indicator in the corner display, but I agree, something on the ship compass that tells you how far the hazards are would have been nice to have time to implement.
This is genius! lmao when your getting attacked but everybody still gangsta at mission control
I can see that a lot of work has been put into this. Definitely one of my favourites
Thanks so much, Tristate! I just literally lol'd at your description of mission control! haha! I'm so glad you played and enjoyed my game!
Just played and rated yours. I am impressed!
