How does your game fit the theme?
The game is about a herd of sheep which you have to protect, however it fits "Out of Control" since you have no control of what the sheep can do and have to place blocks to guide them.

This was a good concept for the theme, I liked the puzzle of placing items real time to make sure the least amount of sheep get eaten! Good job.
I liked the art and unique game play! Easy tutorial to help understand what is going on, I appreciated the slow-down when choosing an item. With some more balancing and varied game play, this could become a nice little game! great job!
I like this game, but it does feel a little up to RNG as to whether you win or lose
Hey, great job on making a game that's not like anything else in the jam. One design decision that I thought was pretty good was to make the walls destructible over a period of time, that way even if you totally walled off your sheep from the wolves, they might eventually break in.
haha that's so much fun! As any jam game, it needs some balancing. Here are my suggestions on this subject.
It's really a very solid entry, congrats! :D
Very interesting game, liked that isometric view and all the art. More maps and a few more characters would make this one a banger. My only suggestion, although it is highly optional would be to make it a tile based game, because sometimes I wasted money on walls that I didn't need and other times I left openings in my walls, but that might ruin the feel, so it is all up to you. Very solid game, well done :)
Glad you enjoyed it! I will definitely add more characters and maps to the mobile release. :)
A fun game little game! A concept that could definitely be expanded into a full puzzle game! Good work! Would love to see different wolves hunting the sheep in different ways or more interesting maps that make the player really consider their options.
Thanks for playing! I'm planning on expanding the concept onto mobile and the idea of having different "wolves" hunting sheep and more choices sounds really good. :D
Good job with the game, not overly complex and had some strategy! Great job with the assests too, the style reminded me a lot of Shaun the Sheep/Wallace & Gromit.
The biggest problem was with the gameplay; there was overwhemingly dominant strategy that I found really early on. I could very easily just wall off one of the sheep and then just wait. I barely used the other tools and ended up just ignoring them in favor of hoping a sheep would randomly wander into a favorable position so I could spend more on walls.
I had a blast playing this :) A cool take on the theme, that doesn't take any control specifically away from the player, which is nice to see! The aesthetic is very simple, yet effective and I love the way the sheep look!
I think the game was a little easy earlier on, alongside the unpredictability in later levels perhaps making it harder than necessary due to being unable to fully plan. However difficulty is mostly subjective and hard to nail for multiple people, especially in a jam game so not really a major issue.
Overall a really great entry and I enjoyed my time playing :) great job!
This is a really nice game! I did find that I could beat most of the levels by using the wolf magnet in the corner and then just building walls around it until the round was over so maybe some balancing needs to be done there but that can easily be done in a post-jam version. This is a really solid submission and I'm impressed that you managed to make all of the assets during the jam! (We did the same for our game and it made things quite a bit more intense)
Got pretty challenging at the end! It did sometimes feel like it depended on the decisions the animals made, which weren't always predictable. I think making the game take place on a grid would help with that, as well as with placing walls precisely. One minor quality of life thing that would have been really nice would be a reset button, so I didn't have to wait for all the sheep to get eaten if I messed up (apologies if this was there and I just missed it). I've seen a lot of really great art in this jam, and your game is no exception! Well done on the visuals and audio!
That was a neat idea, I had fun playing it! :D
Fairly hard to keep them safe, but I really like the concept. The controls worked well! Maybe have the wolves be a little less quick right off the bat, and get faster as the game progressed. Visuals were great, other than the slowmo that happened every so often felt off.
Well done!
Really good game!
Cool take, reminds me of ol' sheep tag from WC3 times.
That was fun! Good job! Cute sheep <3
... I am sorry for all sheep that had to suffer from my initially bad protection skills.
Awesome game, relly fun to play
Great visuals and audio
Nice addition to the jam
Great submission! I found the strategy I usually used was putting a sheep magnet in a corner, magneting the wolves to buy time, and then building a wall around the corner to keep the sheep safe. I wonder if this was the strategy you intended for players to take? I got up to the levels where there were 3 wolves and the strategy still proved decently successful. Aesthetically the game was very nice. Overall great game!
Cool game! Took me a little to figure out, but I got it eventually. I felt that I could kind of employ the same strategy on each level, but I had to switch things up when there were 2 wolves. Nice work overall!
