A lot of games in this jam either change or remove controls of the player character. This game does it the best that I've seen so far. Removing all actions other than movement and the enemy taking clear and direct control over all other actions; catering what actions the player is forced to do in line with the actual stage instead of completely random.

This way of doing this loss of control is not fustrating, is fair and very engaging. Not to mention the charm it adds to the game. The "bye" command gave me a good giggle the first time I saw it!

Top marks for this game! A awesome job! ^-^

Thank you very much, glad you enjoyed it! Yeah the "bye" action replaced the countdown timer, not sure if it works but it's funny :P

Super fun game! Love the gravity changing effects! Really awesome job! The game has a really well designed difficulty increase and I like the "bye" note at the end for if you didn't complete the level in the right amount of moves :D

This is a really cool and interesting game mechanic! It has a lot of potential for different move sets that could really turn it into a quite clever and unique puzzle game. It's also incredibly impressive you did all the art and music during the jam! Great job!

Wow! This is awesome! I liked the fact that each level has new obstacles and the difficulty is escalating through the levels! It really kept me interested and I wished there were more levels to play!Good job! :)

One of the best game I played during the jam ! The core mecanic is fun and well executed, and there are a lot of levels in the game ! Good job !

Maybe I will prefer a bar at the bottom similar to one in rythm games, in order to anticape completely when the wizard's spell will affect me.

Glad you enjoyed it!
Yeah the way we communicate the spells could use some work, we will upload a more polished version after the ratings period.

Where are all this wizards coming from?I hope they don´t get allies, they would conquer the gaming world for sure! Very good, i really like it and put it into my list to play again.

Developer(+1)

Yeah i know right and they all have the ability to control you, frustrating!

Super nice! I found the level of difficulty very satisfying, quite challenging but doable and I felt good after beating the game ;)

Wow what a polished game. The main mechanic is really interesting and the way that the level design explores and expands on the mechanic piece by piece was really satisfying to experience. The art is outstanding and the music had me reminiscing to old that Skyrim days :') lol.

Great experience, thanks for making it!

Super polished game. Awesome ramp up of difficulty too. The earlier levels made me feel like a super hero, then I got to the one with the long levitate up and back down and I felt like a peasant again! Well done!

The music so soothing!

Really fun game and nice presentation! The only problem I have is that some of the commands seem to start when they reach a different position than the ones that stay, making it hard to find a good rhythm. But it fits the theme greatly and is fun!

Developer

Glad you liked  it :), thanks for the feedback, yeah the ui certainly needs some work to make it more obvious when the commands take effect.

it s the first i m playing with upside down orders..it s really a brain challenge to cooporate with the left and right tasks..!retro style game great art and sound design!great job

Really fun game, loved the art, music, and sound design. The concept fit perfectly and gave me a sense of accomplishment when I finished each level. Great job!

I liked the gameplay a lot! I found it almost like a rhythm that I had to memorize in order to get through the levels. I got stuck at the right is left level because it just got too hard for me, haha, and I had to stop spending time on it. It has that level of frustration that you get from playing something like Mario Maker for hours. I liked the art and the sound a lot, and I thought it was a cool idea to have a goblin at the mercy of a necromancer as the story instead of simply telling the player that their controls are messed up. Good job! Five star game to me.
