Very unique concept! Itch won't let me upload the screenshot for whatever reason, but I got 11,200 points. I was playing Twister with my own fingers a couple of times there...
Hi SuperSalteGames!
Wow! This game was so tough! I think the tagline really sells it well - twister for your fingers. I think the concept of putting it in space and then defending a planet from meteorites is a pretty cool artistic setting!
I would suggest easing the player in to the difficulty a little bit more slowly. Although it may seem like a small jump up to go to 2 keys, I was utterly frozen when I saw my first LM combo. Maybe force the RNG to spawn a VB combo or something similar to build their confidence, and then hit them with the left-hand-to-right-side-of-keyboard power move.
Overall a good concept! I like how you mentioned you are physically joined to your computer throughout the game. Very novel!
Best,

Hey Brandon! Thank you so much for the feedback and we are super glad you enjoyed it! Difficulty was very hard to get right and I agree it gets a bit hard a bit fast. I like the idea of making some easier double asteroids come first, in a next build ill add a new difficulty type!
The game was great. However, the biggest praise of all goes to your tutorialization. It was extremely effective, where I knew exactly what to do and what was going on, after that first immediate prompt. Great job!
At first I thought this game was a little awkward, then once I played it a little more, you realise that's the purpose of the game, a finger gymnastic hurdle that I had to overcome. Brought out some of the stress I remember feeling from games like StarCraft. But when you get it, it's good. Visuals are really cool (nice touch with the bloom).
Scored 10,000 in the end, don't know if that's good but I felt like a god. Great work guys.
Really fun game, I love it when games make you do finger gymnastics with the controls (although it probably isn't going to help me with my hand nerve damage - haha), had louds of fun. Really like the art-style too, Great job!

got hooked with the visuals. keep up the good work.
While it took me a sec to understand how the controls work, I had so much fun playing this!! The atmospheric music, the aiming UI, the background art, all of it is superb!! I also love that the volume sliders and high score are always on screen; super nice touch. Just excellent all around.
Thank you so much! We are so glad you enjoyed playing! High praise from the superb Tut man himself
I lost because it wanted me to type AltF4 and I didn't want to stop playing your game lol
But this is an awesome, original take on the theme! Twister for you fingers indeed! But so fun! Just maybe avoid fiddling with the F-keys because a lot of people/computers have those assigned to special functions, like volume and closing out a program!
Hahaha i'm glad you enjoyed it we thought it would add a bib of fun and randomness to the game if it got you to alt F4 ;)
Pretty cool idea. I like the art. Altough I don't really why I have to hold space all the time. I also think more variety would really help, but it's good for a 48 hour game jam.
The goal was to play off the theme of Joined Together. By forcing the player to hold space the whole time they are physically joined with their computer in a way that makes the game much more challenging.
It was really fun, i like such of games. It reminds me Solar
Visuals and music were great. Controls take some getting used to, but ultimately work pretty well. Made it to 8000 then the game throws a PgUp at me. Not sure if I've ever pressed that key in my life. Died instantly.
just wait, if you get far enough you can get alt f4
Like everyone said, nice visuals! Very unique. But please optimize, it runs so poorly for me
Very nice concept and graphics!
If I were to give some constructive criticism it would be this:
I don't think you should need to hold space and the correct characters to shoot them, rather just the correct characters without the spacebar.
Also, the flying characters were a bit difficult to read at times due to the pixilation.
But overall I'm in love with these graphics and my high score was 2500.
Good game, keep it up!
Thank you so much for the feed back! Yeah we need to increase the readability of some of the letters for sure.
As far as the space bar goes though, the goal was to play off the theme of Joined Together. By forcing the player to hold space the whole time they are physically joined with their computer in a way that makes the game much more challenging. Ill make a build without it at some point though and see if the games feels better without it though!
I had a some trouble with the controls, it didn't seem to shoot when I wanted a lot of the time, but I'm sure I was just not pressing all the buttons in the right order or missing the click to actually fire the shot or something silly; the look and sound of the game is incredible and made me want to keep playing anyway! Nice!
Absolutely love the art and the concept! I had a lot of fun seeing how far I could get
very nice art
The art in this game is the biggest selling point for me on this game. The controls feel a little sluggish but overall fun!
Simple, but enjoyable!
I liked playing this game, plus the art and music are very neat.
This is a really fun game! My high score was 12,600.
Damn! Thats way better then my highscore
If you have time after you should hook the scoreboard up to some sort of online thing so you can see everybody.
