This is amazing! The idea was cool and it looked outstanding! I found it a bit hard to find where the boxes were at first, but later on, it just made the game that much more fun! I never thought I'd play a game of babies flying at me!
Well I am too much impressed with the art style and the gameplay style! I really like the dash think and I found a bit furstrating in the first but I came to enjoy a bit afterwards. But I never thought it would become an horror game cuz the thumbnail of the game was nice!! SO I personally liked the surprise haha
Didn't know I was about to play a horror game?!? Was not expecting the babies to dash after me like wild tigers. Lol very nice and well done! Great art style, felt like I was playing a real game and not something created in ~48 hours. Was a bit short, but also didn't overstay it's welcome. One comment (and maybe it's just me) but it seemed the game quit on me a couple times after dying? My theory is that after dying I would hit space (jump button) to play again, but maybe that defaults to the exit option? Slightly annoying after already completely a couple levels but no big issue. Incredbly well implementated game! I'll be watching out for your next horror game!!
Thanks for the lovely review! Your issue with accidentally closing the game was something I was worried about. This can happen on the Windows build when you're running downwards and hit space just as you die, moving the UI selection to the "quit" button. If we had more time I would have made the UI animate for a second or two before showing so this could be mitigated slightly. Thanks for sticking it through even with that annoying bug!
The babies WERE ON FIREEE! Very concise and simple! I found myself getting a bit frustrated but otherwise it was very cool!
