How does your game fit the theme?
I used moons being joined to a planet as my basis. With the idea of gaining and loosing moons changing how powerful your character feels.

Very beautiful art, I have rate it.

Pretty sweet! I think it's a fun spin (haha) on the space shooter by having it use a spinning shield. I also dig any game that uses the Mega Drive drums. Congrats on the first Jam game!

Very cute and simple game, I really enjoyed the sound design of this game! It was very endearing and got some really good smiles out of me :)

I would have loved to see more on the side of mechanics, but what you did get in was pretty enjoyable

Good job!

Very cute and simple!

This is really cute, both graphically and in-concept! Deceptively hard though. Maybe I just wasn't making it far enough (I am not a "l33t gam3r" lol), but I would love to see some variations in the types of moons you can get as a form of progression.  Also, losing all of your moons on a hit felt like a bit of a death spiral. Maybe taking hits could be a tad less punishing?

This is so hard! Really well executed and I like the watercolor-style background

Love the concept and the artwork's amazing, it's nice and simple/cute and works so well with the gameplay. The movement was a bit slow for my liking, but the rest of it was great.

the controls are a bit confusing at first, and having some invincibility frames would be really nice
but very fun and cute overall!

I think my favorite part was the cute "oh nooo" at the end lol. Very good. I really enjoyed the artstyle and the music went well with it too! Pretty tricky, I kept accidentally killing my moons, but still was fun. Very nice tie to the jam theme as well. Great job working on this!!

Lovely art style and music, a bit addicting once you get the hang of it too, could have used some more appropriate difficulty scaling at the start

Thank you! Yea its really trick to make things not get to crazy too fast. I'll keep that in mind in the future c:
