Really nice game. The art is great, and the underlying mechanics are fantastic.

Cool game design and art. And chill music.

Great entry. This was a lot of fun.

coolest entry ive seen so far, love all the ways you can utilize a simple little mechanic

Really nice game overall. The art is great, and the underlying mechanics are fantastic. Some of the levels need another pass, but many are excellent. It would be nice to be able to move down or sideways through platforms, and a slightly more generous jump height would be really helpful.

One level in and I'm sold. The fact that you can redo rooms without having to restart the whole level makes it way less tedious if you mess up. I think the only thing I'd recommend improving would be to add a slight delay / feedback when you step or off a button since it can be kind of tricky syncing up your movement with your hologram's, especially in the areas with spikes. Awesome work!

Developer

Happy that you liked our game :) and thanks for your feedback!

I think we can improve this by adding sound,  we almost donnt have sound effects because our sound guy didn't have that much time to finish, we will definetly  try to do that in the final version,

This game looks awesome ! Might be in the most inovative games in the jam !

The levels got me scratching my head sometimes. I love the color palette of the art, and the audio was decent too. The only problem I found is that sometimes the clone appears as a normal character. Aside from that, good job!

Developer

Thanks for your feedback!

Animating the clones was quite difficult so its still a bit buggy right now.
We will fix it in the final version :)

great level design.

it really tested my noggin at many times.

was also accedentally using 'r' instead of 'q' to reset and it worked the same exept I just couldn't do it when I had just 1 dude.

5 stars all around

Developer

thanks for the feedbac

yeah, we added R because people would probably use it too
to reset the current clone you can use P

I'm stuck at level 3 .

Developer

oh no
Is anything causing problems? Any bugs stopping you from palying?

Level 3 is meant as the first real level after the tutorial levels and should be fairly easy

Submitted(+2)

The game is fine and cool . I mean I can't get through level 3 (count from first real level) because I'm so bad.

Developer

oof me too I have the same problem with other games of this jam haha, my brain is just too smol

Cool game and cute pixel art! Also awesome that you made the music!

Music man here! Thank you!

Very nice, the mechanic is similar to the Recorder from Talos Principle

My favorite game yet! I loved the puzzling, the coordination, all of it! The way you had to sus out the level and figure out which switches did what was really really fun. The animations were a bit broken, but aside from that, amazing!

Developer

Thank you very much,

Yeah, animating the replays was a bit tricky and a few fragments still go through. I hope it wasn't too distracting

Adorable game, very well done! I think it'd be nice if the game asked you to confirm before undoing the previous section. I accidentally reset progress a few times..

Developer(+1)

Thanks for the Feedback,

Asking the Player to confirm a reset might break the flow, but moving the key further away and using R for example would probably be a good idea.

Submitted(+1)

Wow! Fantastic idea, and the art is also amazing! Great game!

Amazing presentation and gameplay, everything felt good for the most part and the loop was tight. Only nitpick I would have is the movement felt almost too fast, making 1x1 tile gaps kinda hard to get through, which was a little annoying in a time sensitive game. Other than that everything was great, especially the art, it was adorable!

Developer

thanks

Yeah, time for creating and testing levels was a bit tight. Maybe we should have made less levels with more time for each.

Ooh I found a gem!

Oh I just found out: if you completed one level then the menu UI will show right? At that moment the menu button didn't work. Just a small one, but overall I really like the mechanics.

Developer

oh, did we forget to turn that back on?

Will take care of that, thanks for the feedback

Wow, I love these mechanics! Recording and then waiting for your past self to do an action is hella creative! Art is cute, and the music slaps, great job!

I was just missing some basic sounds from this game. Whenever you stepped on a button, whenever a door opened, jump sounds could be a bit more noticeable etc.

Also, whenever I play a game that only uses the keyboard such as this - I also expect to be able to fully navigate the menu using the keyboard controls, and it's not what happens here: Whenever I finish a stage, I have to go from the keyboard and reach my mouse to aim and click at the button and then get back at the keyboard. This back and forth action can get a little bit annoying, but with keyboard navigation this could easily be fixed. Just press a key and it goes to the next level, much much better.

Overall, keep up the good work!

Developer(+1)

Thank you very much for the grat Feedback.

Using the keyboard to control the menu sounds like a great idea. Defenitly have to add that.

More sound would have been great, but our sound guy only had time for one afternoon and wasn't really part of the development.

The phantom-players idea really makes you plan ahead at each level. It’s a really fun puzzle game!
