Loved the game! Would have like more levels!

Couldn't get any gameplay happening here at all unfortunately. Tried to tether the cubes together but nothing would happen. It seemed like two separate control schemes for each cube. Yellow: mouse. Red: keyboard. They never connected. Sorry. :(

Ooohhhh :( I am so sorry about that. What happened? Did you try to use the right mouse button to connect to the yellow box? It should've been stated explicitly but you (red box) have to be in a certain range of the yellow box in order to connect.

really good level design making the most of this mechanic! Each level was harder than the previous n made us think a little more :)

At first glance the concept seems simple, but it ends up being pretty fun if you give it a chance! I wish there were more levels - I felt like it was building up. I was surprised when I got to the bonus level and saw it was the last level. I wonder - were you working on more levels and just didn't get time to finish them?

I tried a lot on the bonus level but I gave up eventually. Other than that I don't have much feedback - I actually really enjoyed this game.

I think we have similar concepts, so I would love your rating / comments on my game as well, to see what I can improve too.

Thanks for your comment. Yes, there were initially more ideas for the level design. Actually, most of the fun mechanical ideas didn't make it into the game because of the time restriction. E.g. zones where the interaction with the box would be constricted requiring usage of WASD movement. Or making enemies and boxes that can damage enemies, etc. Alas, It is what it is.

Cute little game, I liked the simple puzzles! I think with some more concretely defined systems (gravity, maybe environmental hazards) and tighter movement controls, you could make a genuinely enjoyable physics puzzler.

The split system of movement, with red moving on WASD and yellow with the mouse, isn't the easiest to pick up, but again, I think it has some potential for more complex and exciting interplay. I definitely had some trouble with both in their current state (red's frustratingly floaty and the tether puzzles were sometimes just luck for me) but that's not a knock on the core idea.

When I first heard the event theme this was exactly the kind of mechanic I was imagining, and you executed on it solidly! Nice work

Thank you, yeah, it is just concept. Simple idea, with opportunity of improvement and creating something classic.

Nice game.

1, There should be sound and music.

2, I did not know that you have to be in a certain range of the yellow cube to connect.

3, All of the levels are too easy.

Besides these, nice game.

I would be very happy if you would play my game.

Its a pretty fun mechanic, but i think it would be even cooler if you took away one of the controls, as levels seem a bit similar. And for me, I used WASD for the red cube just once or twice. Great Concept though! (I did not finish the last level, but i tried :P)

Interesting approach. It's seems necessary to link the 2 blocks all the time. Physics are fun.

Thx for your comment! Yes, that was the original idea to have indirect control of the character, such that its position is not just a function of the inputs, but a function of a function of the inputs, like a double pendulum. Which is chaotic in nature, but suppose to be fun and challenging.

The keyboard movement for the red square felt really stiff, so I just beat most of the levels with the mouse and crazy physics which was a lot of fun

I feel like since you never needed to disconnect the squares, the movement controls of the red square could have been removed and the game can just start with the two connected.

Yeah, it definitely felt like it. But, this is due to it being a prototype. As you can see from level 4, we planned to have a need to disconnect.  But oh well, it is what it is. Thx for your comment, btw)

There was not much point to the movement, maybe you could have tried removing it and automatically be connected to the other cube. Also not being able to change direction in the air felt quite jAnky.

True! But oh well ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

It was supposed to be made useful by the level design, but we are not that experienced in fast level prototyping (

Well, I mean congrats on making anything at all, many people never reach that stage, especially in just 2 days

thx <3

I managed to pass the last level haha

Whaaat? No way, how?!?!?! )))

Submitted(+1)

I just swung really fast, almost hit the wall with my mouse, yet I succeeded B)

Great game! The controls are a bit tricky and I didn't use the red cube's movement that much, but its nice. Well done!

Submitted(+2)

Nice game! I tried, but the last level seems impossible haha

I love the wonky physics of this game lol. Very cool!

very good game, yes, mmmmm
