I was surprised just how polished the level design and puzzle aspects were for a jam game. You did a great job on all fronts, and I think if more graphics were animated plus an original song would make this the best game of the jam

Hei! Lovely artwork! (and music). I didn't manage to finish the computer puzzle. I'm a but trigger about it  :(
Fantastic job for 48h!

Not the most original but definetally impressive and polished. I love the art and the level designs. Excelent Job! ☆

Excellent premise, cool concept, really dig into this i lost track of time solving the puzzles, the learning curve is easy so it flows smoothly, i would love to see this fully developed <3 congrats

Hi IcebergLettuce!

This is a phenomenal concept. The idea of joining together blocks to make a map to then traverse is genius. It was well executed with a nice visual aesthetic and audio. Very well done! I think a game like this game would do well commercially.

Best,

Best game of the jam, imo

Loved the art style! Only issue I had was that sometimes it wasn't clear what was a background graphic or an interactable element. Overall great and I loved the clever puzzles!

Amazing game! The art is awesome and I had a lot of fun playing :) The only small issue was the press "F" to fullscreen which didn't work. Also pressing "Esc" to end the game is a weird behavior to add in my opinion. I went quite far in the game but unconsciously press "Esc" to close the computer and ended up closing the game :( But beyond that, the experience was really nice! Great job and congrats :)

Great Graphics, Original Concept, Great Presentation. The puzzles were hard but very satisfactory. Many VVVVV vibes though. (Spolier) When I worked out that Orange room goes under Green so you could boost it was a Eureka moment. Super cool mate!

I like the computer, very original

really cool concept, hoping this places!

Great job. Really good polish for a gamejam game! Love the concept!

loved this, best game i've played so far! the only bit of friction i encountered was realising that i have to use the mouse at the terminal, and also realising that i have a double jump.

aside from that, i really enjoy this take on the "metroidvania with rooms" concept that was seen in a previous jam - it really fleshes the idea out, with unique visuals for each room and creative puzzles involving multiple rooms at once! and the graphics in general are quite nice.

This game kept bugging out on me. First time it wouldn't start up, then when I got the first key, is there supposed to be an interact with the locks? because it wasn't showing up :(. I really dig the idea though. Great job. Wish it would let me play more.

Developer(+1)

Hmm that's strange, I tried downloading it and I don't have any issues. Are you sure you had the right key? You need the red key for the red locks, I didn't explain that in the game.

Submitted

Ahh. I was playing on the browser version. It was a yellow key but there was no red key anywhere. Odd...

Developer

The red key is in the red room, check upwards

awesome, please make a full game out of it !

Developer

Thank you, I'm thinking about it!

This is an extremely unique concept and take on the theme. Though the beginning is a bit confusing at first, when I figured out how the levels worked I got really excited. The platforming as well is super snappy and responsive, and the graphics just go so well with it.

The only suggestion I can think of is having some sort of penalty for dying, as people can just use dying as a shortcut to quickly go back to the computer, I'm not sure if that was intended or not.

Other than that though, really stylish submission. Good luck on the rest of the jam!

The game looks very nice, good art, good music, good sound effects, interesting mechanics. Nice job! Also, the yootoub.com window is fantastic.

Developer

Lol thank you, that was one of my favorite things to add :)

A lot of fun! I like the way you can put the level segments around. Quite polished!

I love the idea! Can see this game being expanded into something bigger, so I hope you continue to explore the idea! :D

Developer

Thank you! Yeah, I've been thinking that I might try to make a more fully realized version of this concept with some of the puzzles that didn't make the cut. Thanks for playing!
