This is easely one of my favourite game I've tested for the jam!
The stitching idea is great, the visuals are nice and the sfx/music is cool.
There are some things to improve in the plateforming, but nothing too seriours.
Greate game, well done!
I'm glad you liked it! Thanks for playing!
Most creative game I've played so far! Really good polish presentation. I stuck in "time to fly" but apparently it's buggy. Also the platforming is a little clunky. Sometime I accidentaly pressed "R" instead of "E" >< but it's so cool to think upstream to build a path. Thank you for making this game and it's deserves a post-jam version!
Thanks! I'm impressed you made it that far, and I'm glad you enjoyed it!
This is the most creative gameplay mechanic that I have seen for this jam, really good job and I love the artstyle!!!
Thanks, I'm glad you liked it!
Hi fellow thread game! Everything in this game is incredible, and the art and music are just way above expectations, especially for 48 hours. The sewing mechanic is interesting, albeit a little hard to learn. There are a few minor bugs (mostly because of Unity platforming, and the slopes are somewhat janky), but this is easily one of my favorites so far! It's very well executed and, as others have said, it really deserves a post-jam version! :)
Thank you, I'm glad you enjoyed it! I'll definitely check out another thread game!
Very cute idea and nice interpretation of the theme! I've got a few family members I've sent it to that I know will love it! It feels very polished and I agree that with a little bit of tweaking this could be released on steam as a full game! Great job!
Thanks for playing! I hope your family members enjoy it!
Really neat concept, sadly its just slightly tedious and hard to control, perhaps it would be easier if there was a little distance between the character and the place where you sew. Either way, really well done on this game. You really got a clever idea that beautifully fits the theme, and with some tweaking, could become a really elegant game!
It's funny you say that, early on in development I accidentally put the source of the thread at the tip of the needle cause I forgot how needles worked, and it was definitely easier. We didn't end up going with that cause we already had the animations, but your suggestion was spot on. Anyway, thanks for playing, and thanks for the feedback!
This is incredibly polished! This is probably the nicest-looking game I've seen in the jam, and the music is great! All of the animations are smooth and the controls feel good to play with. The idea is also pretty fascinating, and it was interesting to develop different strategies to maneuver around the level. I ended up stumped on the first level with two holes as I have no idea how to create a platform below the right hole so I can put a second stitch across it, but all of the levels before that seemed to have a decent difficulty curve. As I said, this is unbelievably well polished for a jam game, and it definitely has the potential to be expanded into a full game of its own. Really nicely done!
Thank you! We had a dedicated art person and a dedicated music person, and they're both awesome. Also, in retrospect, I should've swapped that level and the next one, cause that level is really hard. The key is, you don't have to put a platform under the second tear. Anyway, thanks for playing and commenting!
So cute and really fun, I really want to see more post-jam! I was really trying hard to beat the "time to fly" level but I could only ever get one stitch across the tear 😂
I'm glad you liked it! That level is actually glitched and the player spawns below the map, so it's impossible :(. I have a fixed version, but can't upload that till the jam is fully done. I actually wasn't really expecting anyone to get that far, so congrats! That was the last level we had anyway. Thanks for playing!
Love the Mac support! Would like to see how you could expand on the experience post-jam, as I like the core mechanics, but it felt like it could use more exploration on the concept. Great job!
Thanks, I'm glad you liked it! I may or may not work on this post jam, but I do have a lot of ideas for other side mechanics that could be interesting combined with the main mechanic. We'll see. Thanks for playing!
Lots of really cool ideas here! The core concept is super interesting and I felt like a genius in "Mind the Pit" because each jump just flowed fluidly into the next. There were a few things that didn't quite connect for me, namely it felt ambiguous what did and did not contribute to sewing a tear shut. Also out of curiosity: why Shift? It felt really unnatural to me that shift was the button to swap sides.
Thanks, I'm glad you liked it! It's fun once you get the best way to climb vertically.
Sewing the tears was definitely inconsistent, that was one of the things we just didn't have time to fix. I chose shift cause that's what made sense to me, but it was really an arbitrary decision. Thanks for the feedback!
Hi Invisii!
This is a superb entry to the game jam, encapsulating the culture and motivation of the jam flawlessly. Well done! The music was definitely relaxing, something you could imagine someone embroidering to. The concept is so novel and unique, and it is very well executed. Exemplary work!
I apologize I can't give more actionable feedback, but this game is stunning!
Best,

Thank you so much for your review! I'm glad you enjoyed our game, we had a blast working on it
The art and music in this game are marvellous. I could'nt really grasp what to do but this game has so much polish and level design that it crazy to think it was made in 48hours
Thank you! We definitely would've liked more guidance for the player, it's hard to figure out when you don't know what's going on.
Very cool game that looks and sound great ! GG for making all of it in 48h (Level design in short period of time is just too hard :O But yours is so nice !)
Thanks! It helps having 4 people, and we were working on it right up to the time limit.
First off great title for the game! Besides that though fantastic job with this!! Incredible concept for the theme and amazing implementation. A little tricky to get the grasp of but once the basics were figured out it all made sense. This honestly seems like it's ready to be a full-fledge game! Amazing work!!
Thanks! I'm glad you liked it, it's definitely a weird mechanic.
very very cool concept, took me a minute to realize what the heck was even going on. Music was great too actually paused spotify for this
Thanks! And yeah, our music was inspired by Louie Zong's ghost choir.
Omg this is amazing! I love everythinggg
I still don't know what the best strategy for building stairs is but damn it's fun
Thanks! I'm glad you like it, it's definitely a weird mechanic to get used to.
great artwork,interesting music and mechanics
Thanks!
Absolutely gorgeous, and a really interesting idea!
I took me a hot minute to actually get the hang of what was happening but I often quite like that in a puzzle game
Thanks! It's a weird mechanic, it definitely takes some getting used to.
Really cute!
Thanks!
Art is absolutely beautiful and the game mechanics are really fun. I'd play a full game of this if I could!
Thanks, I'm glad you liked it!
