On download I can start Kumotot's but when I try to lay a web bomb he just goes into the laying a bomb animation. I can see you have had problems with the exe which really sucks as I was looking forward to playing it! I'll come back when you get the fixed version out.
We hope you make it back. Had a blast with your game. We didn’t leave enough time to work out upload issues and unfortunately spent the last hour aggravated at exports and failed version uploads.
The .exe actually works fine, but we missed the grace period deadline with it. Would love your feedback when we can upload in a half-day.
Fun, good job!
From the screenshots and descriptions it looks like a very fun game in which you put a lot of hard work into! Really sorry that you didn't manage to upload it, but I'll be sure to check it out in a few days after the jam!
Thanks, yeet! I hope you do get a chance to check it out in a few days.
Looks really nice. I'd like to play it when possible !
Thanks so much, Schouery. We'll add the correct .exe to the page as soon as the voting period ends. Vimlark played that version on stream and came so close to completing the final chase sequence: https://www.twitch.tv/videos/1057202739?t=01h21m13s
It's a shame it wouldn't upload on time. Looks fun based on the screenshots. Congrats on the first jam!
Thank you, 1nterrobang! Hopefully you'll remember to come back at the end of judging to give the game a try when we can upload the .exe.
Keep up the hard work guys! First game jam for me too and having no issues to upload is also part of the jam haha!
Thanks, Kiwily! It was such a low after so many highs to get to that point!
the pixel art are nice!
Thank you, Mogi! Maybe if I didn't spend so much time making sure it worked asymmetrical then I would have had enough time to upload a playable version instead of the broke HTML and Mac build! Got a .exe fixed just after the grace period. I hope you'll consider giving the game a try then!
Sorry but i tried on Chrome, Edge and on my phone but i'm stuck with the "Choose your path" menu. I'm a bit sad, i wanted to see more, because the pixel art and the music are really nice so far.
Thanks, Tippex! Appreciate you trying and the kind words. We finished a game on deadline for our first jam!!!
Unfortunately, we didn't export it properly in time. None of the versions currently up will work and by the time we got on a PC instead and exported a Windows .exe it was five minutes past the grace period for uploads. As soon as the jam is over, we will update the page with a playable build of BugBoy and KumoTot and hope you'll come back and give it a try. We worked really hard and while the learning process was great, games are meant to be played. So please consider playing our first attempt and sharing your feedback.
Much appreciated,
Endmark Games (Mark and Paul)
Can't get it to run in-browser on Chrome/Edge for Windows
We're still glad you tried and appreciate you taking the time to comment, BeardOfBronze. We finished a game on deadline for our first jam!!!
