An interesting mechanic, followed up by really cool music and art, but I felt like the graphics between the player and their ship did not match up with the art style of the planets, so that might be something to look at (just nitpicking). Pretty fun game nonetheless, good job!

An interesting concept and a great menu with some hilarious fun getting flung around on the giant planets.  Though extra physics from the planets would definitely be awesome to help with jumping around at weird angles and such.  The ship looks cool, but it kinda scares me it looks like an angler fish ready to eat my character, and based off the fact that I disappear upon hitting.  I think it does.

The extra speed and orbit switching are some cool mechanics though.  The jump feels really floaty but that also makes sense for the setting, I feel like when you jump off the planets it loses a lot of that though?  Which is a bit weird.

Overall though, a cool game just more physics!!!

cool game! that's a nice idea about reversing the planets' orbits! maybe you can develop this game even more after jam is over, maybe it would be even nicer:)

Thanks, I am glad you liked it! I am definitely working on a post-jam update for the game and would love to continue working on this!

This is a great concept! I agree with a lot of what mvn said, the jump isn't affected much by the orbit, but the planet gravity works really well! I'd love to see what you would do with it if you worked more on it!

Thanks! Yea, something about Construct 3's physics engine just confuses me, and I've only been using the engine for a few weeks, so I decided to play into the way the player would drop off, instead of trying to fight it lol. I am glad you enjoyed it, and I would love to work on it more!

This is a good one. I didn't understand the mechanic when I first played it, but when I did I really enjoyed it.

One critique I have is that the planet orbits don't have that much of an effect on movement, and I really would like to have them be more physics-based (by that I mean they can fling you instead of just dropping you).

Thanks! Yea, I get that it can be confusing. I tried to explain it in the menu and make it easy to follow, but I can see how it would be confusing at first! During the game dev process, I tried to get the jumps to act as one would expect, but Construct 3 just wasn't having it, and that was earlier in the process and I had a lot left that needed to be done, so instead of fighting the odd physics, I went with it and played into it a bit more. Thanks for the feedback! I am glad you enjoyed it!

Enjoyed this one. Finicky at first, but I got the hang of it eventually. Was fun making a dash in the last few seconds to get those final few gems to get over 1000 points. The music & sound was all great too Great job!!
