Hey! Are you trying to make me learn things?! Stop it!

A fun concept executed well. Although I must admit - I stopped ready the text and then started to get confused why the molecules didn't join up all the time. I'm a simple person - I want to shoot things at other things >:D

The objectives were a neat touch too, it incentivised me to try harder to do better on levels. Nice! :)

Thanks for playing my game, Cameron - and sorry for giving you a chemistry lesson.

The tutorial was something I regret not spending enough time on; even I found my rules hard to grasp! A great lesson for next time.

A very cool interpretation of the theme and on top of that its also educational!

The controls felt extremely polished and it was very satisfying to connect two atoms.

You could have added a way to get back into the menu after starting a level.

But Im very impressed with your work in this time limit so definitely keep going. <3

Developer

Thanks, Toaster ^^

Though I very much appreciate your kind words and feedback,  This project was a classic misinterpretation of time. As you may expect, the educational elements and controls were the first thing  I worked on and UI was somewhat of an afterthought.  Timekeeping is a great lesson to learn for next time.

Nice work, great concept that really fits the theme. Nice presentation as well. Sometimes I wasn't sure why atoms would join up and sometimes they didn't.

Thanks for your feedback and kind words, Beep Yeah ^^. I think if I’d had more time I certainly would’ve explained the rules better, that was the clear downfall. If you want a better understanding I think I’ve made a better rule set in the description of the itch page.

Such a great way to teach chemistry.

Good job!

Developer

Thanks, Hensi. With a little tweaking, this could fully model all kinds of bonding. Maybe after the jam, I'll give it a try.

Love the idea of creating molecules and stabilizing atoms.

Thanks for your kind words, Bubak. ^^

Such a cool concept, and execution on the atom idea! Great job, I really enjoyed it.

Thanks, Hilk! We atom bond guys have to stick together.

I really like that you had multiple objectives, impressive considering the time limit!

Developer

Thanks, I must say I was working right up until the time limit! We need to stick together, those who thought of atom bonds for the theme!

Yes indeed

Hey, atom-game squad! ^^ Great game, very polished with the level select and star system! A sort of colour coding would have been nice to see for more clearly of which atoms have bound and how many valence electrons they have left.

Hey, M4stermind thanks for the kind words. Really wish I had thought of the colour coding idea, that would've made the whole system much easier to understand. Loved seeing your game take on the atom bonding idea too!

Loved the idea here! The amount of text to explain the mechanic is a downside to me, I think it would be better to teach through images with examples.

Overall it is great, congratulations!

Thanks, Eduardo. Having just checked out Link OS, positive feedback means a lot coming from such a talented game maker. Definitely would've loved to make the tutorial less wordy, perhaps after the Game Jam I'll try to make a simpler tutorial.
