Really nice concept and art. The sound design and music also go with the gameplay very well. The rounds usually are over very quickly though, so there are usually at most only 3 rules, I wonder if the rounds can be extended somehow?
Thanks for playing.
Hope you enjoyed the game. Right now there are 9+ rules in 5 levels. Do you have ideas that we can explore?
I got played as in don't know how to play clearly! Nice game and art! Check out ours too!
Thanks for playing.
Was the tutorial not helpful? How many rules did you play with?
I really enjoyed the visuals and UI design. I don't think I fully grasped how to play. A visual tutorial might have helped. But overall, awesome design!! Great work!!
Thanks for playing.
The game does have a tutorial for understanding the controls and game-play. We also made the first level easy for players so that they can grasp the game-play and can play more difficult rules/levels. How many rules did you play with?
got pretty boring pretty quickly... also, I was played when the rules said I shouldn't have been (same colour or same number, yet I was a green 4 laid on a red 2)
Thanks for playing.
The start of the game is deliberately kept slow. for players to grasp and fully understand the game. I think a skip turns button might have helped? The issue you are saying might be either a very rare bug or a new rules might have been added to the game. I think it's the second one because the scenario you mentioned is exactly the same for the rule of +2 Card. Maybe give it another go? If this issue still occurs then it's a bug and I am sorry about it. I will personally take a look at it.
Very nice game! Personally, I would have had a scripted "tutorial" of some sorts in order to make the first round shorter and get you hooked
Thanks for playing.
I understand what you are saying. Since it was a Gamjam submission with a restricted time. We thought of just making the first level super easy for players. We had another discussion about the tutorial the way you mentioned as well. If we add that, still players have to figure out the rules of game. So to overcome all this we kept first level easy and added a good and basic tutorial on how to play the game and it's basic of how to.
Cool game. I would add a complexity a bit: now its rather simple. Just don't match colour and number. Maybe the initial game rules should have more rules (maybe adding swipe of cards and you need to change hand u in to be unnoticed) or restrictions on card change (for example u cant change more than 2 times in one round)
Thanks for playing.
The first level is indeed easy. Did you try other 4 levels as well. The game has 9+ total rules in 5 levels.
The first idea you shared was discussed in the team and we did try it out with a smoke bomb- hand change style. We found it a bit more for our testers and so we decided to keep it away from the jam submission. The second idea you shared can't be done as there are 9 numbers and at a worst case you will have to change 9 times to reach to safety. I would like to hear more ideas from you.
Oh, sorry, i guess i missed others! Will replay it this evening ;)
When i said about "change limitations", i meant it as limitations for one game round, not level. It's enough to change 1 colour + 1 number not to get picked (in the first level though. My bad i missed others)
Replayed it, definetely was more interesting expirience with 4 rules (dunno how i managed to stay with two rules in my first play..) But i think speed doesn't help player analysis, if it's where you going. Personally feel, like it doesn't add complexity. I would decide what game focus i want: fast reaction decisions or slower analysis (ofc its only personal opinion. I think there are players who likes all at once challenge)
Overall - great game!
I thought about adding the ability to speed up the timers by pressing a button, like 'space'. So that we keep the tension but if you figured out a tactic the game won't force you to wait for a long round time.
Very cool game, i like it!
Thanks for playing.
Hope you really enjoyed it.
Yes!
Honestly, this is one of my favourite games for the jam. Very creative, fits the theme, and is polished very well (love the card little animations!). Good job guys, good job.
Thanks for playing.
Hope you really enjoyed it. How many rules did you play with? Try reaching the level with 4 rules.
Ok, I stopped at 3 to play the other games but I will try!
Surely, give it a go and let us know your feedback.
Such a lovely and polished little game!
Thanks for playing.
Hope you really enjoyed it.
You guys polished the game well!
Thanks for playing.
Hope you enjoyed playing it. How many rules did you play with?
Love the art style. But I think the game is monotonous now. Maybe control two cards at the second half is good idea.
Thanks for playing.
The idea was thought by the team but we thought it would be more overwhelming for a lot of player and also we wanted to stay more on the theme by breaking the idea of you always knowing the rules.
So fun! I could play this all day
Thanks for playing.
Yes, please do. We would be very happy. Right now we have 5 level with 9+ rules if we get a proper rating and feedback the team will surely create a post jam version with more features and less bugs for sure.
such a neat game. I want this on my switch!
Thanks for playing.
Hope you enjoyed it. Should we create a post jam version? Do you have any ideas that we can work on?
The crazy art style, love it and the game is well balanced. Also, I really like the clean UI.Good job
Thanks for playing.
It is indeed a very creative game. I enjoyed developing it with such an amazing team.
This game is awesome, I love this game! I personally hope that this makes it to the top 100. Love the concept and really enjoy the artwork of the card sweating over being played or not. Amazing submission!
Thanks for playing.
Hope you enjoyed playing the game. We do have our fingers crossed for it.
You did an amazing job with this. It took a few rounds to figure out how to play but I managed to win.
Thanks for playing.
Yes at start the game might feel difficult but once you start to understand it's super fun. How many rules did you play with?
Very cool design. I love the artstyle, the animations and the gameplay!
Thanks for playing.
Hope you enjoyed playing it.
Astonishing visuals, gameplay idea and gameplay itself! The game is incredibly polised!
You 100% get into top 100, I think, even into top 5! Absolutely love this project!
Thanks for playing.
Fingers crossed. Hope you liked the game. How many rules did you play with?
For my first attempt playing there was only 2 simple basic UNO rules, so, I won.
After that I decided to play again, and won again, because there was the rule that prevents players to use blue cards.
I lost on the third attempt intentionaly, to see what's gonna happen. Anyway, either game is easy or I am lucky, this project is the best from what I have seen so far.
Yes the first level was kept easy for the players to get a groove of the game.
As you progress in levels the rules become more difficult to crack. Level 2 is also difficult you surely are super skilled.
Absolutely love the art style and colour scheme. I wasn't personally able to figure out the extra rules, only same colours and same numbers, but that didn't stop me from enjoying trying. Shape shifting cards in any real life card game sounds pretty fun aswell.
Thanks for playing.
There are more than 9+ rules in the game in 5 levels.
What a fantastic idea! So well executed and the visuals match absolutely perfectly. Top 100 material!
Well done you guys!
Thanks for playing.
Hope you enjoyed playing the game. It is very creative for sure.
