that gun animation is sweet, the game feel is top notch. 👍👍
Most of the development time went into that sniper rifle :)
You definitely know how to make a game, excellent presentation! Love the visuals, screen shake and audio.
Still, I cut a lot of stuff from the initial idea. It was supposed to be a sniping game where you're a hitman and had target's to eliminate. I've planned to have different levels, like a jungle (MGS3 style) a city level and a shooting range for the tutorial. I did also plan to have an animation for a headshot like in Sniper Elite games.
Cool idea, loved the music, but in the latter stages it was hard for me to keep track of all the obstacles, so unfortunately, I didn't manage to get to the end :( . Nevertheless, it's a lovely game.
Thank you. Yeah you have to memorise the obstacle placements because the bullet is fast.
Its a cool take on the endless runner genre, the controls are very responsive. I had a bit of trouble tracking the obstacles tho, especially as the screen is scrolling so quickly. Our minds tend to filter out dark objects, especially when moving, so making the obstacles brightly colored will help draw our attention to them similar to stop signs. The guitar bgm is sick tho, it really puts you in a zen mood. Great job!
Thank you for your feedback, I'll keep that in mind.
I liked the flappy bird -like mechanics, not so much the memorization, but that's just personal preference. I liked the music though, and it's impressive that you made it yourself as most people aren't able to, good job!
I've been teaching myself to play on guitar for a year now so I just made something really quick that sounded acceptable. I'm still really bad at writing my own songs. I find this easier than fiddling with music making software, I don't have much experience with that kind of stuff.
Nice idea and really fun to play, loved the color palette and the idea that, when youre at a far distance, environment changes.
However, noticing obstacles at the first section of the game is difficult, since they are in a similar color palette. I suggest making them brighter to make a clear contrast with the background.
I did drastically change colours of obstacles and the background so you can actually see them but it needs more tweaking.
Thank you for your time to review the game
Gave it quite a few tries, unfortunately I didn't make it to the end! The bullet moves so fast, which makes sense, that it almost becomes a memory game versus a traditional flappy bird time game, where I have to remember where I messed up on the last run.
Unfortunately I'm not the best with memory games. I may come back to this one later and try to get to the end! :D
Thanks for your time, yeah it's more of a memory game that's why it isn't randomly generated. I maybe should'ave added an ability to slow down time while holding a button, I didn't run out of time I just decided not to (my fault).
Oh yeah that does sound like a nice idea. Bullet time! 🤣
Very fun game! The music is a really nice touch to the challenging gameplay, too.
Thank you.
Fun game, I almost make something similar to that.
I do think that the camera is to close to the bullet, or that the bullet goes to fast
I had to relly on memory more than on skill.
I did experiment with speed trying to find a perfect number but lowering it any more and it becomes really easy (if it was generated that could fix it). There is also a bit of camera shake, it's lowered a lot from my original intent since looking at it made my head hurt.
Really addictive. At first I thought it was way too fast for me to get far, but after a few attempts I was dodging like an expert. Fun game.
Thanks, I will probably add more levels after the jam, tweak some stuff and also make a mobile port.
I like the art for the gun a lot, and I think the game is fun. Good submission
Thank you. I did waste some time off the jam just looking at the reload animation over and over :)
Initially it wasn't inspired by an android game called "REDDEN" until I found out about it from my brother since it reminded him of it, then it was a bit - I suggest you to check that game out (first Chapter is free).
reminds me of geometry dash. i liked that you could reload the gun lol
It felt really satisfying to me so I had to add a manual reload.
