Interesting idea to bring the perspective of player into the enemy’s camp for a very unique experience! In terms of game feel, it feels like playing a special kind of pinball game that combines strategy and hand-eye coordination. It would be nice if the index of my troop types had been labeled in UI , I often lost my place in the queue while flipping through them, and the first few times I played it felt a little difficult and the development of the defenders felt a little sudden and unpredictable, but it’s very exciting!
Nice concept for the theme. It would be nice though if you could see stats of monsters you can spawn, to better decide which ones to use. And I think it would have been nice if "enemy" could upgrade towers instead of just building 20 of the same ones. Great job though!
Cool game! Really polished for a 48-hour jam, but I would have loved an introduction on what exactly the different units do.
I liked the idea a lot, but its a bit slow. You have to wait a long time for your summons to reach the other side, while you just wait. It also could have been better if you had more information about the units you send, other then name. I still have no idea what the spy does.
But nice work non the less.
Very cool idea, I hope you consider continuing it's development after the Jam! Like others have said the tower shooting sound is a bit loud and uncomfortable once there are several towers on screen.
I made it as soon as the theme came out and forgot how time works...
This was a great game!
Thanks
This was a really interesting mechanic. I think you could polish this up and sort out the AI to make this really strategic. I won by just mashing normal guys until I had a bunch of money and then flooding the level with spy's, but it was a very enjoyable way to win so I don't know that that's a bad thing.
Thank you for the advice! Your strategy is quite unique I would day :)
Fun little game, I enjoyed discovering how each unit worked. I feel like the menu would be better if it was just controlled with a mouse instead, that way you could show all the possible units at once, so it would be easier to assess how to spend money. Other than that though, it's an interesting little concept!
Thank You! I have learned my lesson! I like the fact that you enjoyed the game.
Nice little game! It was fun trying to discern the best strategy through multiple attempts. My main complaint would be that the tower shoot sound is a bit loud, especially when it's stacked multiple times. Also, next time you upload a unity game, you should delete the _BurstDebugInformation_DoNotShip folder! :)
Thank you very much for your advice.
