Great idea! I don't know the controls though. Sadly. But I can say this game has some amazing art and sound! I liked the 3D art, it reminded me of Minecraft! GG! If you have time could you rate my game?

Fantastic idea! I loved it! It's like the opposite of an idle game, sure the mech is fighting on its own but you can't exactly sit on your behind and do nothing. well done! Love the artstyle too!
Also the music is a banger

First i thought i had to play the mecha suit and shoot those enemies and then realized that I had to repair the suit, so perfectly bamboozled me with the Roles Reversed topic :D Enjoyed the little mini games when the armor was broken as well!

Love the idea! Like an on rail shooter where you support the person doing the shooting. It did look a little silly when just the torso was destroyed though - maybe that should end the game instantly, or not be vulnerable?

Let me start by saying that I love the 3D art style, it reminds me of older games. The gameplay is fun and enjoyable and the sounds are pretty good. You have done an amazing job!

This is really awesome! Love seeing the 3D capabilities of Godot for web-based games on display, I also like the idea of juggling between repairing parts and knowing when to replace them. It would be cool to see the different parts have more of a visual effect (like the laser cannon vs missile). Great work!

Nice presentation, I love the idea of playing as a frantic mech mechanic trying to keep things together mid-battle. It seemed a little strange that installing new weapons also completely repaired a part - is there any reason to repair rather than install? If not, that's a good space for some sort of trade-off mechanic.
Either way, well done.

Fun game!
I finish it without having a torso.

wow this really keept me hooked you really did a good job with making it soo that is not easy but neither impossible

I liked the choice between repairing a component at low health vs replacing it with spare parts. Perhaps the stakes could be upped even further if you had to manage some things on the left side of the screen (or maybe that's too much to keep track of?), like finding better components on the battlefield.

Solid entry for 48hrs!

Wow, I didn't even know Godot was capable of handling all this 3D. Congrats man, looking very polished!

Really cool take on mech fighting. This should be implement a lot more frequently in other games!

Submitted

Cool idea, the minigames are nice implemented, but could use some visuale upgrade  - not that this is the place to think about that - Great Submission!

Wow, cool game! Godot 3.5 (or3.6)?

I felt like my pilot could have done some more shooting!

Love the mini games. Also very nice visuals. Wish they would make html5 viable in Godot 4 soon!

Very cool entry, good job guys!

Developer

Thanks, its Godot 4.1 :]

What! Last I checked, almost no features were supported in the compatibility render pipeline.

But your game looks great! Hmm!

Developer

That was the state for me to but the other dev tried it and with pipeline set to mobile and 4.1 it was no big issue (maybe better then 3.x)

Submitted

Wait, mobile can be exported to web?! This sounds very interesting! Last i tried, shadows and anti aliasing were not supported even. No global illumination, glow, transparency or anything.

Must check this out!

Developer

Love this nested conversation, we used glow, transparency ... not sure about global illumination but quit good feature set, especial for such a jam (I would say allays export to web first).

Submitted

Sorry for going on about this :D

When I started your game again I see that there are no shadows, also no glow I think. I tested running our game with compatibility pipeline, which is what is used for webgl build. It says shadows, glow and SDFGI are not supported. Anti-aliasing is also not supported. But you made a game that is playable in browser, that is worth a lot too, even without those features. They fixed the transparency bug I ran into with particle systems at least, so your fire looks cool.

Developer

Oh didn't know, nice.

Great minigames. I only saw the 3rd one when I got to the end.

Submitted

This was REALLY fun to play! VERY well done on the Art and Audio! Impressive submission!

Submitted

Really fun idea with great execution! Some more variety in the minigames would've been nice but obviously 48 hours is not a lot of time.

The environment is very cool, I liked the presentation on the 3d side

Awesome work and cool take on the theme. I liked the concept that instead of doing the battling you had to manage the systems to allow your Davina to fight. Some things that I found tricky was whilst taking part in a minigame I wasn't always aware of what was happening in the background which made me quite anxious to get them finished. I think the whole concept of different part rarities was interesting and could be expanded on further. That being said, there is already a tremendous amount of work on display here, great job!

I can't give you high enough praise for this one! Super creative IMO and I loved the Among-us Style minigames to repair, super engaging and really gave me the feeling of being a mechanic in a heated situation, Audio queues were excellent, seriously great game!
