How does your game fit the theme?
You play as the person giving the quests, not completing them. You also serve both monsters and humans, which is atypical. Finally, you send your clients after each other in the form of bounties. Once again, not something a quest giver typically does.

Great concept! The art was fantastic! My main issue was didn't know about the second side until I read the comments of this post, and then found them again on the game page. An in-game tutorial of the mechanics would be great. Additionally, I also needed more skulls and gold then was said. Finally, fairly consistently I would run out of quests to give, where I would have five that aren't combat oriented, and then the next guy comes up and asks for a combat quest. Lots of people needed combat quests, actually. Maybe removing the ones like "Make soup" would lead to a more consistent game flow, but overall this is one of the best games I've seen come out of this jam. Great job!
Hey! Glad you like the concept :)
We really wanted a tutorial but ran out of time. Sorry about the incorrect tax requirement, will look into it!
This is definitely a shortcoming of the game's clarity, but combat quests don't necessarily have to be completed by "fighters". For "make soup", one of the hidden strength traits is "The Elements", which some characters are good at. But as long as one of their weaknesses don't match the quest, you can assign them to it and still complete it successfully, just for less money :) I know, it's quite overwhelming without a clear tutorial, and if we continue to work on the game post-jam we will definitely clear that up!!
Thank you so much for trying the game. It makes us really happy that you think it's one of the best!
that was fun! the characters are amazing and the quests are so fun :)
i would love to have some kind of intro and to know more of their world! and some tutorial on the mechanics too :)
i also got an impression that the second time i had to pay i paid more than it was mentioned in the dialogue (10 instead of 5 coins and skulls)... inflation nowadays is crazy :D
great entry!
WHOAH! The aesthetics of the game are so well made. Crazy what you've managed to do in just 48hours. Good job!
One of the more creative concepts I’ve seen in the jam so far! I really like the idea of playing as a quest-giver, especially one without allegiances who might have no reservations about turning their clients on one another. Setting a bounty on your own clients makes me think – it would be fun to have a mechanic where you could potentially conspire with your clients to do unsavory quests that are very profitable for the both of you, but could ruin your reputation if words gets out. That adds another incentive to sell out your client as a bounty – you’d be destroying the evidence of your misdeed.
The presentation was also really charming, the character art was fun and expressive.
I´ve always had a great amount of respect for games that test the player´s mental skills; Especially social analysis is something I´d like to see more of in games and you guys came up with a wonderfully imaginative concept that fits the theme and is fun to play without having me feel overwhelmed with massive amounts of text that I have to read - well done!
Some of the information could have been displayed a bit better here and there ( I played four rounds wondering where I get the skulls from until I figured out that I had to right-click XD), but a fantastic job overall with a challenging concept!
5/5! :D
The game felt really nice. The game looks great, the game mechanic is a lot of fun and you could turn it into an amazing full game. Just the introduction and the strengths/weaknesses could be made a bit easier.
Still a great game. Keep it up!
What a nice game! The visuals are sometimes amazing sometimes drafts (hey it's ok in a jam!) and the core loop is realy easy to grasp (once you understood the main mechanic that, since is not detailed in the game itself, had me look to the game page to be understood). Having said that, even with the strenghts/weaknesses opened on the second monitor, I still had troubles guessing which quests were a fit for some heroes/foes.
Overall, really nice job for this jam, good luck! :)
Cool characters designs/art however I had to take a look back at the game page to understand how to play, also the strengths and weaknesses were kind of hard to understand what they correspondent to. The bounties are cool but it was hard to remember what each character's strength and weakness was and becomes even more difficult when you have two of the same character. Overall good concept and art but hard to understand gameplay.
