Small "bug" I found While speedrunning the game, if you run diagonally (holding Shift, W, A or D) you run way faster than normal allowing the player to beat the game as soon as the nightguard hits 30% panic, cause you move to fast for him to shut the door, got a 1AM win in about 1 minute when speedrunning the game, just something to point out if you do update after the jam. Posted a speedrun video link on the game page.
This is really cool! Creative gameplay and way to reverse the roles. Feels faithful to the game too, with so many little references.
I love it! Ive been in the fnaf fandom since day one and I got so excited to see a fnaf themed game submitted! I played through and I think the game mechanics were really well done! Other than that I wasnt quite sure how to have freddy laugh, I dont know if it were a controlled thing or automatic thing but it felt like it shouldve been something the player could control. The art is amazing and very well done. Overall, I say this is a really good game, I hope you place somewhere at the top :] (I may be a tiny bit bias in those hope but hey its ferdy fazbr)
Great entry! I've never played a freddies game so this was interesting. I really enjoyed the aesthetics.
Nice art and good replication of the spooky atmosphere of FNAF! I think it could be cool to expand on the premise with more mechanics, perhaps with it being a bit more "chess like" and "red light, green light", as in FNAF the animatronics don't move while the camera is looking at them.
The game is very pretty and the ideia is an interesting twist on the usual horror game. The artstyle is amazing, congratulations.
"Uhh, the night guards do get a bit quirky at night". All jokes aside, I absolutely love this idea and never thought that playing as Freddy Fazbear would this much fun. You also nailed the look of the creepy pizzeria. It would very cool if this were to become a full game where you can play as all of the five animatronics and complete all five nights just like in the original game. Anyway, wonderful job recreating such a masterpiece.
Best "Playing as Monster" games in this jam so far! Cool game! Check out our game too!
Had a blast playing it (who wouldn't want to play as Feddy Fastbear) but looking at it objectively, the gameplay is a bit bland. Gameplay boils down to interact with the green markers 'til the doors stop automatically closing, then camp outside the hallway and sprint in when the door is open.
Gotta love a FNAF take. I don't think I've ever seen a reverse one either, at least not like this. Actively trying to get the guard was fun and engaging.
Clever concept! It seems a little bit too difficult since winning relies on a lot of randomness from cameras and the distractions spawning, but that's just a bit of tuning. Nice work!
Impressive and polished game. Like how you handled the theme. For me the only problem was that I didn't see any cameras, so I just wondering around in search of green marks.
