I love the premise! x) The mechanics are simple, but fun enough. It's a perfect parody of the original game for the theme. Well done!
Had a lot of fun playing through this really simple concept but great execution and I love the name you gave it haha!
Cool concept, very funny! ahahah
Very good execution and a nice spinoff from the original XD NJ!
Yeah those dinos deserve some stomped-on. they've been getting too much of a spotlight haha. Loved the concept!!
Creative theme use and does exactly what you think it should. good work!
i love how it is simple yet satisfying :)
the controls are very easy and it is fun to play. maybe it is a bit slow at first, but it becomes really harder after that!
i got to the point where dinos were moving very close to each other with the same interval — maybe it would be good to make the distance between them vary, just to avoid monotony :)
nice entry!
simple yet good take on the theme! great job!
This game was so much fun! 🌵I loved the music and the fade from day into night. This was a really fun twist to the dinosaur game.
Nice idea! First time I see a cactus perform a double jump
Super clever idea and and very fun to play; thanks for sharing! :)
Great game! I really like the daylight cycle just like the real game.
Nice game and really stuck to the theme well!
Funny game! I thought I was supposed to get in the way of the dinos lol but I quickly learned... I also somehow managed to make the cactus immortal after 1000 points or so
just like cactuses in real life
haha thank you for playing!!
Hilarious idea - great tie in with the theme especially. Love the classic reinterpretation of a famous game. Nice work!!
Thank you!!
Good game, good idea, good execution, maybe a bit slow. Good job!
Yeaaaah I wish I had more time to tweak the spawn times, I was having issues with it last minute. Regardless, thank you for playing!
Wowwww, that's what an incredible idea 😂 I didn't expect to see this today, but I'm glad I did. You did really well to make it feel exactly like the OG game, but just reversed. Great job! :)
I was hoping at least one person would say this! I spent more time than I probably should have giving it the same look and feel as the original. Thank you for playing!
Really cool and simple game with a creative concept. The music is a banger!
Thank you thank you!!
Great Game! I really liked everything about the concept! I got to 504!
Yeah the Dinos were a little shy at the start but the music made the spare time better! Also I was just playing around with the jump at this point :D
So here are some things that could be fixed when you have time for it:
- the days and nights could be longer, it was a little bit straining for the eyes (choose maybe more grey tones instead of pure white/black)
- the shift between night and day was really hard to play, maybe it could help to just darken the outer edges of the screen (or make the cactus a light source) to make it harder and not completly unseeable! :D
- a highscore for how many dinos and birds you jumped on would be really cool instead of just the time :)
- uhm idk! I really enjoyed it! Great game!
And also thanks again for reviewing our game! I am glad I found yours c:
Those are good suggestions! Luckily all the sprites are transparent so I can change the backgrounds to pretty much whatever color ends up being the least eye strain-y, I almost added a "party mode" where it flipped between a bunch of brighter colors, but ran out of time. I'll definintely toy around with that after the next iteration. Thanks for trying it out and the feedback!
A party mode would also be fun! (But please dress the cactus according to a party then, with cool sunglasses or sth like that)
great concept
