Love this game! Was really confused on what to do initially, but figured it out fast. The subtle screenshake and the DMC-like combo system make it so satisfying to play. Good job!

How does your game fit the theme?
The game constantly reverses the role you are playing. Both the artist and the critic (apparently antagonics) have to synergize together to allow the artist to accumulate enough passion for his art.

Epic game! It took me a second to realize what was happening, but after I figured it out it was funny! I enjoyed it a lot. I've never had any of my art called bacterium :D! GG! I enjoyed it a lot! Could you come rate my game if you have time?
Definitely one of the best mechanics in this jam! Your mechanic about painting is clever and straightforward. Also, I love the art style and UI. Really wish I can make a game like this
I'm not easily impressed, and yet! Your art... have impressed me!
On my first playthrough, the instructions were a bit unclear, but once you understand how to play as the critic, you start racking up some impressive insult combos. This is actually a nice blend of gameplays, but there's a pretty low skill ceiling in my opinion. Maybe adding some extra ways to build up points while painting could do the trick? Either way, this is a nice little game that totally fits the jam's theme. Well done!

Amazing game! So unique! I really loved the way you implemented the painting mechanics!
Thanks! During the brainstorming phase, I almost decided to create a FridayNightFunkin-like gameplay for the artist. Since I already made a game with similar input, I switched to a Osu-like game. Ended up great.
Very creative and unique entry for the jam! I have never seen something like that, also I really enjoy the way the painting mechanic was implemented, a simple but engaging solutions to create an experience, great game! <3
This game is awesome, really feels like I'm painting something, and the critic parts were quite fun. I wish I could see all the paintings I made over the course of the game in the end screen. Great entry!
Thanks for playing! My friend started laughing so damn loud when he read â* unzips *â as a viable finisher. There are a lot of possible combinations (exactly 529 valid combinations, with 23 finishers). Two types of sentences (the ones asking for a substantive and the ones asking for an adjetive).
A visually pleasing and polished game. I thoroughly enjoyed the role of being a critic, haha!
it is very creative to make a painting game. though i am not very sure what i am doing when the left guy is asking me questions. at first i thought i am trying to guess what i am hinted to draw with the prompting colors, but then it looks like it isnt
Essentially, the guy on the left is a art critic. Your goal, in practice, is to choose a word that properly fits into the â____â space of the sentence. Since the time to develop was so short, I only managed to categorize the words as âsubstantivesâ and âadjetivesâ. The word at key 1 is always a substantive, at key 2 always an adjetive. After gathering a big enough combo, press 3 to end with a finisher.
Really unique idea and a good implementation and polish. I felt those lines while looking at the random gibberish art I made.
Demorei um pouquinho pra entender o que tava acontecendo, mas Ă© culpa do meu baixo intelecto - a escolha da mĂșsica fez eu me sentir como o meme do tryhard. Muito bom
Baixo intelecto coisa nenhuma.

The ending is really poetic i like it a lot. It ties the switching game mechanic into the narrative excellently.
The game looks awesome and the idea is really good.
It's a bit hard to tell what to say as the critic but maybe i'm just too lazy to read and just answer randomly haha.
One thing i noticed is that you can't switch paint with the 1, 2 and 3 keys, it think that would have been much more useful, although it would be less realistic as you are not dipping the finger on the paint.
This is truly a piece of art.
Great observation.

My friends also said this to me. Although it would be easy to implement, I was directing my focus on final polishing such as the style meter and a strange performance problem. When I revisit the game in the near future, I will apply those changes.
incredibly unique idea and awesome implementation of two unique and completely different gameplays, i also love the tension created by the sound!
