How does your game fit the theme?
The role of the pause menu is traditionally to stop the game so you can go get a snack. I reversed the role of the pause menu so that you must use it in a creative way to reach the goal!

Did your team create the vast majority of the art during the 48 hours?

No

We used pre-existing art

Did your team create the vast majority of the music during the 48 hours?

Yes

We created the vast majority of the music during the game jam

Very cool game! 😄

At first I thought it was just going to be a simple “you add two more platforms”, but then I realized the sliders exist, and it added a whole new dimension of mind-bending possibilities!

I also like how each level adds a bit of complexity, and so you don’t get overwhelmed at the very start!

Great job! 😊

That is such a neat idea!

I just had a bug in the second level - I had the time slowed down so to try and jump on that and I chnaged the FOV slider so its inbounds but I failed the jump and everytime I changed FOV my character got only smaller so in the end the particle effects from walking were twice as big

Incredible level design. Full of eureka moments that make you feel like a cheater (the best kind). Very fun, amazing job!

Hi . We really liked Pause to play. Here's a video we made about it and other games in the jam. Your game is so interesting and made us think a lot when playing it. Well done. If you'd like to watch it and comment.

It’s such a cool and unique idea. It’s something that’s simple mechanically, but an interesting one and a ton of fun.

Makes me wonder why I didn’t think outside the box as much as this game did.

It looks great. I donť know if the shrinking of character model is intentional or not but it creates another level of challenge.

THIS IS SO GOOD BRO!

Jumping with the UP button always throws me off but this game was fun and inventive. I won't spoil stuff here but well worth the playthrough. Oh and i loved the detail of the character bumping their head

It's incredible to think that this was made in 48 hours! 15 whole levels, all with mind blowing puzzles, a very creative take on the theme, very pretty simple art, relaxing music and very smooth and polished gameplay! Loved it!
To me it's a 5/5 in all three categories :)

Amazing concept - Looks great! Minor bug if interacting with menu after winning a level.

Wow, this game is amazing! Such a unique and interesting idea. It would be a waste not to release it as a paid full game after the jam. Its very polished already. Very good job!
