Oh cool, another team that went for an actor theming! This was a pretty cool game. Controls took a little time to get used to, but afterwards I had no problems. Art style was super neat and the level design was very solid, too.
My main points of criticisim would be that one, in contrast to how quickly the character moves, changing mood takes longer than expected and two, while I love the idea of adjusting the music’s tempo dependent on the mood, the scratching sound effect got a little annoying after a while. Maybe working with different instrumentation and cross-fades would work better?
Apart from that, a really neat little puzzle platformer. I could see this turning into a full game. Well done!
Such a creative game, enjoyed the clever use of mechanics very much
I love the hand drawn paper look! This is actually one of the most creative games I've seen, it was a lot of fun to play too! I found the speed up and slow down of the music added an eery kind of creepy vibe. I'm not sure if that was your intention but I also kinda dig it haha!
Brilliantly creative, I love love love the Ancient Greek theming of this one! The exaggerated faces are so on point and really sell the game. Definitely one of the best looking entries in the jam!
Of course the Icarus guys are under this game haha
🫣 we have a type
Absolutely adore the style of the game! And the mechanics are so fun too!
I love the paper-like art style and the concept of your game! The ancient Greece background is unique and I didn't find similar one in this jam. The puzzle is also great, which asked players to have good understanding and precise movement to solve. I am wondering are you major in history or something related? Really leave a deep impression on me :)
Your game is really well-made! I've enjoyed playing it! Also, the art style is very nice :)
Cool style! The game made me sweat. Good job)
I dig the aesthetic and enjoyed the puzzles based on the role swapping. Controls were a bit tough for me. Overall great work!
Great game, loved the idea with roles being theatrical roles, and the effects they have on the environment.
I like this game.
Nice game!
Very nice game :) Loved the art style and also fun mechanics. The jump and fall speed is pretty high
Good idea of taking the concept literally, but I think the mask mechanic is still limited, especially the happy mask. I think adding different masks for each level could be a good way to expand this game.
Nice aesthetic! I feel a little creeped out in some moments xD (Not because it is bad or I don't like it though. It is just super unique to see this kind of art style with sculpture faces :) )
The controls feels a bit too fast, but I get use to them quite quickly.
The puzzle is very nice! sometimes I accidentally solved it but some of them are definitely nice puzzles! Also cool little easter eggs you hid in there lol
Overall, pretty interesting experience!
Very cool art style. I really like how the music changes with the character mood!
Enjoyed the theme, controls are sometimes tricky. Good effort overall.
A very unique take on theme, I really like the art style and the changing music as well!
I like this style of painting very much. The musical variations that switch emotions are also excellent. I was on the second level for a long time before watching the walkthrough video.😹
Styling well and it all fits your Greek tragic-comedy themed game mechanic!
Creates fun puzzles to solve based on reversing character's mood
