How does your game fit the theme?
As you play the game and increase your score, the keys start to slowly reverse roles. By the time you finish the game, a good chunk of your keys will no longer be working as intended. This creates a double "Roles Reversed" effect, because while the keys are very literally reversing roles (A types B, B types A, etc.), the genre of typing games is also reversing roles from a muscle memory exercise to the exact opposite, you have to fight your instincts to type correctly in order to succeed.

Reading the description, I thought this would be really uncomfortable to play and just be inherently annoying, but actually playing it turned out to be really fun. It becomes exponentially difficult and eventually really chaotic, but thats kinda what makes it fun! Bonus points for really nice sound effect when you type.

Cool idea! Well done!

Very funny. No notes.

Fantastic concept! Definitely one of the most enjoyable entries I've played. I love how slow the game feels at first, but it quickly becomes apparent how much time you're going to be spending correcting each word. The only criticism I have is that it feels like the difficulty ramps up really quickly. There was a sweet spot where I was able to type most words just in the nick of time, but that only lasted for a bit before I was completely overwhelmed. Nice work!

This was so much fun to play! A straightforward concept with a great execution! I struggled hardcore, but it was an enjoyable kind of struggle! At first, I wasn't too sold on the concept fitting the "roles reversed" theme, but after reading your explanation, I can definitely say I've changed my mind! Awesome work!

Also, this concept hit a little too close to home for me, because my keyboard is actually a malfunctioning mess as well XD

6 stars on creativity. The concept is good. The name is rad. The panic is real.

That was hard, but very fun. I don't know if it means I'm a good typist or a bad typist that I struggled so much. The presentation was simple but stylistic and felt perfect for this kind of game. The particles that spawned when you fully typed a word were extremely satisfying. I also think this is one of the most creative and perhaps best interpretations of the theme I've seen.

Couple suggestions if you ever wish to update this: 1. I feel like making the rules on the left uppercase could remove some ambiguity when you're having to reference them quickly and not remembering if that 'L' is actually an 'I' or a '1' or what, and 2. maybe ensure the next word that appears after a new rule is added actually uses that rule to ease the player into the change.

the game was really fun! I think the time pressure really adds to it.
As someone who is not a native speaker it was a bit hard for me but it's a fun way to practice :)

Really creative idea. I enjoyed it soo soo much, but it really messed with my brain haha (in a good way). It gets difficult very quickly, after a few letter substitutions I messed up a lot. Good game!

Aaaaaaaaah why is this soooo hard x) Really good take on the theme, I loved it!

Good use of the theme! Highscore was 21.

as someone who has dealt with a broken keyboard in the past, this game really took me back :'(

Very unique concept, and very well executed. Great job!

This is really cool! My brain was getting so twisted by the end, it was crazy. Good going!

Typing games can be fun, and this one manages to be quite difficult as well, after a few key swaps. I only scored 34, but I'm pretty satisfied with that score. Very unique gameplay, and honestly this has potential to not only improve your writing skills but also improve your brain health (maybe, I'm no scientist :D)

you fool. you only made me better at typing so am winning the next gmtk game jam >:). jokes aside this game is really fun the swapping mechanic is good and the music is fitting . Good job!

Good execution on the keyboard swapping idea!

This is tough, but a really great challenge! It gets really chaotic with a lot of rules.

Great concept! I enjoyed it :) I would have enjoyed having access to an undo/backspace button so that a single typo wasn't a full failure.
