Finally my Mario Makers "skills" are useful somewhere! \o/
This was fun to play. :) I like that you can win a level in several ways, although it also means that half of a level can be useless. I also didn't understand what use the bombs have. But oh well, I found way to kill the hero anyway, sometime by creative means.^^ It was quite satisfying!
Also the music is really great, I enjoyed it instantly. Nice work!
a fun, clean-looking game with simple but deep mechanics, i was able to get away without using all the objects in a few levels on my second playthrough which felt pretty cool. well done!
I liked the color selection in each level. Would be nice if the confirmation popup was not there before starting the sim. The mechanics you have used are fun to play on! Nice work!
Feel free to hop into my game as well and share your thoughts and ratings if you have the time!
I liked abusing the “invincibility period” to prevent the player from collecting hearts; I would love to see more puzzles that focus on unexpected combinations of mechanics like this!
Cool puzzle game! Mechanics were clear and levels were challenging and required understanding of the various features. Controls could be a bit clearer (e.g. drag and drop and on-screen buttons instead of keyboard bindings), but I got the hang of it soon enough. Nice interpretation of the theme. Cool art music too, it fit the robot-y theme of the game.
Wow, that was quite a levels with some good puzzles. Like @Jaylus said, the items were very intuitive, didn't feel like I needed any explanations except that the bomb at to be falling to explode. The music and art style complemented each other well. My only suggestion would be to let the player move the cursor more quickly by holding the button down instead of having to tap it repeatedly.
This was fun to play! I particularly like how intuitive the placeable objects felt. I think the game could have benefited from fewer, more-refined puzzles, as difficulty felt random at times — but overall this feels really enjoyable + solid for 48 hours. Thanks for sharing! :)
Good idea for jam but not so creative! Art and sounds looking good... also presentation very well. Gameplay short and different.
I'm sorry, I think I found a bug and completed the whole game using it. I assume you're not supposed to remove the pre-placed objects as they add to your total of objects when you remove them? The game was really good regardless!
Such a nice and entertaining game! I was really surprised by the amount of levels you made in two days, nice.
I'm not sure if it's intentional, but the player won't grab a heart if they're flashing after being hit. The UI is alright, I just wish it had a bit more contrast. Would also like to see the previous level layout saved if you ever make it into a full release.
Well done!
Veeeery nice game! Love the mechanic , and it''s well made! Nothing much to complain about, good job indeed!!!
Charming little spin on the idea. A few levels did solve themselves (Maybe a bug?) but overall nice game.
great game! nice work, impressive number of levels, level design was solid and consistent. The puzzles were engaging and made me have to think, and I got sucked in easily. nice work! I would say try to push your level of polish as you go forward and keep at it!
Nice execution on the "build the level for the hero" concept.
Fun idea and good presentation, however there are some serious bugs that drastically lower the difficulty, such as invincibility frames preventing the pickup of hearts, and the ability to delete and reuse objects already in the level.
Invincibility frames for hearts are intended, some puzzles were designed around it! =)
To delete objects from the level... well, that's a bug :(
Very interesting puzzle game, passed completely! Nice art :)
Nice game! I enjoyed playing it! By the way in the second or third level you can win without doing anything… I think that is unintended
Very fun game!
I would love to see a post-jam update with more early-on level s that help learn some of the mechanics, and more control options; but other than that I don't really have much to say- as I feel that the game feels good and had fun puzzles.
Really nice, took us a minute to work out what was going on but I think that was our fault! Really nice idea and the puzzles were well thought out
Pretty rad! I struggled a bit against your control options (kept pressing enter to place objects), but the gameplay itself was super solid. Great little puzzler!
