How does your game fit the theme?
Usually if you got a virus on your computer, you would be the user trying to remove it. In this case, the roles are reversed and you are the virus trying to take over the computer.

It was a little sus downloading something with Virus in the name to my computer, but I'm glad I did. Really cool concept, and the presentation is really cute. The music transition to the virus view is really polished! I like the graphical effects used here a lot. The game does a great job of tutorializing its mechanics. Super clever game. Maybe I wasn't controlling it right, but I couldn't seem to use the "drag user's cursor" and "drag windows" abilities, not sure why. Surprised this hasn't gotten more buzz, it's a real hidden gem. Great work!

Really cool game! This is a pretty cool concept, and it is really well executed! It was pretty hard for me to cross the 75% threshold as the cooldowns were a bit long, but that could just be me spamming the 'infect files' button haha

wow, really well executed game, especially for 48 hours! the art looks great, and the music slaps! the only gripe with the game is that if the user calls tech support, its essentially a guaranteed loss; you cant do anything to disconnect them.

But still, this game desperately needs more ratings. Well done!!

glad you liked it! to get rid of tech support you can actually close the phone window, but yeah we recognize this isn't a great solution as if you get unlucky the user can basically just immediately open the phone and call them again.

Great to finally play a virus, I like this concept and it is well made. Music is cool and fits the game, also it changed depending on how much control you have over the pc. That is good

Maybe the best I played yet. It was really fun and the concept is cool. Maybe that the two option at the right aren’t as useful as the ones at the left but it was fun to hack this computer !

That was really fun! Great concept, loved the dynamic music based on the infection progress.

This game sounds so cool! I can't really play exes, though, so if you'd upload a web version after the jam I'd love to play it :D

Developer

will do :) no promises about the performance on webgl though

art for the thumbnail rocks, added it to my list just for it. i tried to make a game with good art but apparently you need to be good at art for that 🙃

Awesome! I love the concept, I didn't find it clear which actions I could/couldn't use at any given time so it felt a bit like my actions were ignored - perhaps if the buttons grey out when tech support is connected it would help? Anyways, nice work!

This is really cool! The music escalating as you infect the computer is really fun and the dynamic of switching between pc view and virus view is really satisfying. I didn't find a ton of use for the powers other than close window, but even playing with just that was  really fun! probably the best game I've played from the jam so far
