How does your game fit the theme?
Usually if you got a virus on your computer, you would be the user trying to remove it. In this case, the roles are reversed and you are the virus trying to take over the computer.

I love the execution! It's a short but enjoyable game. I'm surprised you found time to add in a tutorial for the game, it makes it feel professional! The little window that pops up telling you that you can't do an action currently does feel a little slow, but otherwise this is very polished! Good work!
Great concept, awesome execution! The music seamlessly changing based on where you are in the game was a really cool touch!
Great concept and well executed!! I love the visual style and the presentation of a virus. I found it pretty hard to hack the whole computer, when the user connected to tech support I cannot figure out how to stay alive. That's strategic. Really enjoyed it!
Totally worth the download!
Loved the concept and the gameplay, it's very intense.
The rush to infect everything i could was great..
Didn't change my stars att all, 5 in the 3 topics!
What a creative idea! It seems very hard to make this game fun and presentable, but somehow you did! Great job!
This is an amazing game, some of the best presentation I've seen in the jam! Super cool premise, jamming music, loved the variety of things the user can do!
I really love the ideas and presentation in this. The art style is great since there's a lot of interesting contrast in visuals between the desktop and virus background, the music switching between modes is such a nice touch, and the desktop windows look amazing and have a lot of great visuals. However, I have an issue with the gameplay feeling too stagnant. I played for about 12 minutes or so; the first 3 I was absolutely wreaking havoc on this random person's desktop, and made it to about 80% before the combo of tech support and other antivirus software brought me down to the 30% range, where I was stuck at for the rest of my time playing. Unfortunately, I never got past this sticking point, and I feel it's due to the lack of upgrades or special events for the player to gain more bytes than what their usual infection supplies. If it was possible to upgrade my bytes per infection or gain some extra bytes by interacting with the main desktop somehow, it would eliminate these sticking points and give the player a chance to come back from a major deficit. Overall, I think the visuals, audio, and concepts are fantastic, but the gameplay needs to be balanced out to give the player a boost at more difficult parts of the game. Great work! And sorry for the essay, haha
Hey, thanks for the reply! You actually CAN gain extra bytes and infection progress by interacting with the main desktop. If you press CTRL you zoom back into the desktop and on some menus there are green INFECT buttons that you can click to gain extra bytes and infection progress. Maybe try again with this knowledge and see if you can beat it :) I am aware this isn't explained super well in the game but yknow, 48 hour jam, crunch time, didnt get everything in as we wanted perfectly, and all that. I love the idea of upgrading your bytes per infection and I might even add that as an update in a post-jam version. Thank you!
Just replayed it and it only took about 4 minutes to completely take over, sorry, that is completely my fault for missing the giant INFECT covering some parts of the windows lol. Thanks for pointing that out, it definitely changes the difficulty of the game. No longer an underpowered virus!
really cool idea, great visuals, the game feels very polished.
Great job!
Very fun game, our games kinda feel like a roles reveresed of eachother!
Great that you had a tutorial, although some of the mechanics weren't explained well. i didn't realize i had to switch views to drag the cursor or click the green infect things. I liked it overall! (also if you force full screen, have a exit game button)
yeah, an exit game button was one of the first things we realized we should have had after the deadline passed. thanks for playing!
Oh wow this started out looking like an idle game and then became a desperate fight to the death! 10/10 would play again
Amazing Work, sadly cant finish tried 3 times, only reached to 80% will give it some more tries XD, Good Job on music and Art
Wow. This is very impressive. The idea itself is well thought out and a unique way of interpreting the theme. The gameplay makes you feel like some sort of a hacker and I love the little details and visuals that make the experience seem even more realistic. There were some weird bugs that I've encountered like not being able to drag the cursor or windows. Overall, I really like this idea and think it deserves a 5 star rating.
cool game! I like how instead of just clicking a button to prevent your infection percentage from going down, you have to actually interact with the victim by doing things like closing the windows and freezing the cursor
Thanks for coming onto the stream to talk about your game, here's a link to the Interview;
https://www.twitch.tv/videos/1869190140Nice, really good presentation and it was really fun trying to mess with user's PC dragging and closing windows. Sadly I think my game glitched and there was no music, but that's just a really minor detail.
Loved this game. Hope to see you in the top 100!!! Also the Terms and Conditions for the anti virus are pretty funny. Also cat.
Really nice concept. I actually had a virus flag on one of the jam downloads this year; it was interesting to see how it went from the virus’ perspective lol. The effect of different actions on the situation was a bit confusing to understand, but otherwise it was pretty fun.
I feel people would be turned away by the download but it's a great game and it feels very polished. The graphics and music are great and I especially love the cat background :). It's a unique twist on a normal clicker game and it's really fun! A slight flaw would be it was a bit confusing as to what I should be doing and how effective certain things were.
This is a great game with lots of polish! Absolute hidden gem! More people need to see this! Worth the download!
