How does your game fit the theme?
Instead of actually clearing the dungeon you have to clean the dungeon after the last person cleared it. So instead of clearing, you clean it!

This is a lot of fun, and has a good degree of polish for a solo project especially. The scrolling through my inventory was the biggest challenge, but I think it added a lot to the chaotic enjoyment of the game- there were times where I realized I hadn't scrolled and actually had the wrong item and then had to rush back to storage which was fun!
Nice work on this one!
This is an amazingly well done entry for the time given in this jam, especially considering you did everything yourself! Really fun concept, a bit difficult but I loved the take on the theme. One thing I'd love to see is if when you select something from the chest, that if it could automatically move to the next free slot (I admittedly wasted a lot of time taking items out... 😅). Really great work anyway!
Really fun idea! At first I was confused why I could not open the gold chests but then I read your description about how the game works. The inventory size was quite limiting but I suppose that is part of the challenge. I also think that the scrolling goes the wrong way through the hotbar if that makes sense? I think usually if you scroll down then your selection goes to the right and for you it was the other way around, it would probably help to stick to "norms" like that.
Other than that a nice and fun little game, good job!
I enjoy games where strategy and prior planning has to be made, so this game appeals to me. Nice effort for a jam.
Very confusing at first with the transparency stuff, in the second level its really hard to see what kind of pots are needed to place where, could just have made them different colours? Also can we only use one inventory slot? Anyway I like the idea just could be polished more.
Thanks for your feedback! What was confusing with the tranparency? I tried to give a bit of visual feedback if the player can interact with those objects. Yeah i also agree with the pot thing, it artificially increases the difficulty by a bit but to be honest it never crossed my mind that I could just recolor them. Also you can change the slot with the scroll wheel. I did tried to polish it a bit, but I explained it very poorly, there are some extra information in the description incase you need them, I promise you the next few levels are more fun, there are also mini bosses later on the game is just too complex and i didn't have enough time to explain it, sorry for the inconvenience, but I hope you give the game one more shot, atleast until the level 5.
the game is good ! took time to understand what to do but i like it, but i cleared uh well cleaned the first level haha
Thanks for the feedback! The best parts of the game come after the first level, like crushing pots with a broom or punching ghosts with a broom, if you have time it would be great if you can check a few more out! The most important levels are the first 5 ones, the last 2 are more like a challenge for advanced players
Great creative idea! I like how the tight time limit means you need to strategize your path through the dungeon, memorize where things are and pick the best items next time! It took me a couple of tries, but I reached 40% :)
Very interesting concept indeed! It took me time to get the hang of it but when it clicked it was fun!
Very interesting concept. Tough gameplay but gives you the will to try hard to reach those bloody 65% 😂 Well done!
I was able to beat the first level 100%. Controls got in the way a bit for me, in particular the scroll wheel often took a few attempts. Cleaning up after a dungeon is a fun idea. This is really impressive for a solo project given that you made all of the assets and sounds.
The next 4 Levels introduce completely new mechanic, like being able to get power ups from pots or to be able to hit ghosts with your broom, if you have the time I'd recommend you playing up to level 5 since that's where the most fun parts are, I know that the controls take a bit to get used to, but i promise you after you get used to it the game can get quite fun!
Went back and played through the level with the ghost. Didn't try to 100% levels anymore. didn't end up interacting much with the extra mechanics. I didn't end up breaking pots, since I could get through the levels without it. I tried for the first time on the coin level, but it was too slow for me to do and beat the level. ghost mechanic was interesting. i think it'd be cool if the ghost moved the items you've already placed back to the chest rather than locking the chest.
Thanks for taking the time and playing the game again, did your impression of the game changed? Also the idea with the ghost taking away items was an idea I had too, but I wanted the player to actively engage to beat the boss and if he stole items over time, this might have been too frustrating and if he just took a constant amount of items away at the start I feel that would've been too insufficent. Thanks for playing again!
Oh, I was thinking of something in the middle where he would move in the map and pick up items you had previously placed and take them back to the chest, but if you hit him with the broom the item would be returned to the spot he picked it from. I think because I didn't end up interacting with the new mechanics too much, they didn't change my impression that much. I think they are interesting directions to go in, but probably need more balancing than a single person could do during a jam. In particular, I think I'd try only spawning coins from the coin vase, chests from a different type of vase, and really increasing the drop rate of the coins (I think I got 1 out of 12 pots or so). I am definitely more imressed that you got these additional mechanics in and animated during such a short event.
Interesting concept. I found it very finnicky to get all the items in their place. The timer also felt really strict, I couldnt even get close to finishing. Congratulatutions on finishing a game, the concept is pretty creative! Well done!
Hey! Thanks for the feedback the "real" part, like finishing levels 100% is a bit harder and takes quite a fair bit of skill, which is why you only need to clean 55% of the level, sorry incase that was confusing. the 55% mark should be easily doable in the given time. All of the Levels should be possible to be beaten 100%, I only didn't get to testing the last 2 levels for 100%. And yes I agree, the hitboxes could be a bit bigger. But thanks for playing my game!
