This concept is amazing. First i thought that you were supposed to just place the security guards in a single spot, but when i found out that you can draw a route for them i was completely blown away. Definitely one of my favourites in this jam.
really enjoyed this one. its very polished and sounds are great too.
Love it :D so that is how assassins creed guards are programmed
This game gets tough! I like all the lighting effects that make it really polished, but I wish that the guards could not get stuck sometimes. Great work!
I can play this over and over again and I won't be tired. You really executed your idea in the best way possible. Great job!
Very cool concept, and well programmed! I feel like it might be better if the intruders weren't random and instead had fixed paths, because it sometimes feels easier to just draw one path and keep restarting until it eventually works. Although I understand that having fixed paths might lead to cheesing in one way or another. It's a tricky problem to solve, especially in under 48 hours. Anyway, great entry, it was very fun!
Thank you!! Yeah, when I was testing it mid-development I found that if you ran it a few times there was a good chance it'd eventually work. Tough problem, but yeah I think more predictable enemies would allow for more strategic thinking when chosing a path. Thanks for playing! :)
I think, I played your game in right way.
haha 100%!! but thanks for showing me the bug! - it's because I made it so that you could draw on top of yourself...i'll have to upload a fix it once voting closes ! Thanks for playing!
i love it so much!
Really like the idea, cool puzzle game ! nice job :)
That's a really good idea. It was really fun to play. Hope to see this idea expanded.
I love this game, very cool concept!! I couldn't beat level 5, the thieves kept pushing away my poor short sighted almost blind MGS type guards lol. I love how it started with normal human sight to MGS "who goes there, I can't see past two meters in front of me" type of guards. I think you could expand further on the idea, maybe with cameras or motion sensors. Great job.
Thank you!! I would've loved to have added cameras and motion sensors! haha yeah I should've made it so that if they hit the guard they get caught. 🙂
Very good. I would like it more if there were more mechanics, like camera, and if the patrollers caught the enemy if they bounced into them.
Love this idea. Controls are a bit hard (the whole path disappears when the mouse goes out of the screen/into the grey zones), and it's difficult to plan without knowing where the 'enemies' will go, but its a solid base worth exploring.
Thank you!! Yeah, controls could use some work. and maybe if the enemies acted more predictably like they were hiding from you it might be easier to plan. thanks for playing :)
really fun concept
Cool Concept For The Idea, I Find It Amazing What You Were Able To Make In Such A Short Time :D
It's very satisfying when the intruders get caught. Would love to see you expand on this after the rating phase!
Stealth feels one of the hardest genres to reverse. So far it's the best attempt i've seen. Quite satisfying.
Thank youu!!
I also had a hard time with path drawing, and my guards got stuck occasionally but it's a great prototype. I passed a few levels and I can imagine the whole game, I'd love to see it improved a bit more with the path drawing, maybe something more forgiving than undrawing the whole line, like just stopping the line at some barriers (but redrawing it if you hit other more dangerous barriers).
Cool concept overall.
One of the coolest I've seen so far. But kind of hard to draw the route, maybe just my computer
Thanks!! Yeah, you can't draw over the green squares or walls, so that might be it.
Cool idea, there is potential, but needs more variety! Good job!
Thank you! I agree, needs more variety! - I was going to add lazers and security cameras to later levels, but ran out of time :)
